## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Workday Jobs API: new job postings daily from enterprise career sites

**A jobs API for Workday career sites (myworkdayjobs.com).** Get only the job postings that are new since
yesterday from thousands of employers that hire through **Workday**, including NVIDIA, Salesforce, PwC, Airbus,
AstraZeneca, Visa, Maersk and Thomson Reuters, plus hospitals, universities, banks, retailers and manufacturers.
There are no career-site URLs to collect, no scrapers to run and no duplicates to filter out. Results arrive in
seconds as JSON, CSV or Excel, or through the API.

> **Why this feed is different**
>
> - ✅ **Only what's new since yesterday.** Set "New jobs, last 1 day" and get just today's additions across every site. There's nothing to de-duplicate against yesterday's download.
> - ✅ **Closed jobs and days open.** We keep the history, so you see which roles were taken down and how long each stayed open, a time-to-fill signal no live scraper can give you.
> - ✅ **Thousands of Workday sites, one feed.** No list of tenant URLs to maintain, no 2,000-result search cap (we split big employers' searches), and mirror sites (the same jobs on an employer's second career site) are removed.

Most Workday scrapers need you to supply each company's career-site URL and return everything that's currently
posted every time you run them. This feed already covers thousands of Workday sites, checks them every day and
keeps the history, so it can tell you:

- **What's new:** jobs that appeared since the last update, not the 3,000 that were already there
- **What closed:** roles taken down (filled or cancelled) and how long they stayed open
- **Clean, comparable fields:** real company names (not Workday tenant codes), the apply link, and the posting date

### Who uses it

| You are... | Use it to... |
|---|---|
| **A job board or aggregator** | Add enterprise, healthcare and university jobs that startup-focused ATS feeds miss, refreshed every morning |
| **A recruiter or staffing agency** | See the day a large employer opens roles you place (nurses, engineers, finance, operations) |
| **A sales team** | Spot enterprises ramping up hiring in a department you sell to |
| **A job seeker or alert builder** | Get "new remote data jobs at Fortune 500 companies" delivered daily via schedule + email/Slack/Sheets |
| **A researcher or analyst** | Track enterprise hiring by role, location and company over time |

### What you get (one row per job)

| Field | Example | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| `company` | NVIDIA | Cleaned from the hiring organization, not the tenant code |
| `title` | Senior Data Engineer | |
| `location` | US, CA, Santa Clara | Jobs posted in several places show as "3 Locations" (as Workday lists them) |
| `workplace` | remote / hybrid / unknown | When the title or location says so |
| `url` | https://nvidia.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/... | Direct apply link |
| `postedAt` | 2026-09-28 | From Workday's "Posted N days ago" (empty for "30+ days ago") |
| `firstSeen`, `lastSeen` | 2026-09-29 | When our tracker first and last saw it |
| `status`, `closedOn`, `daysOpen` | closed, 2026-10-14, 17 | Time-to-fill signal |
| `source` | workday | |

Export as JSON, CSV, Excel or XML, or pull it with the API. Schedule it daily and connect it to Google Sheets,
Slack, Zapier, Make, a webhook or an AI agent via MCP.

### How to use it

1. Pick **What to return**: *New jobs* (most popular), *All open jobs*, or *Recently closed jobs*.
2. Add filters: title keywords, exclusions, locations, remote/hybrid, companies.
3. Run it. Results arrive in seconds because the data is already collected and cleaned.
4. For a daily feed, **schedule it** for any time after 7:30 AM US Central, when the daily update is complete.

#### Example: new engineering jobs in Texas since yesterday, no internships

```json
{
  "mode": "new",
  "sinceDays": 1,
  "keywords": ["engineer", "developer"],
  "excludeKeywords": ["intern"],
  "locations": ["Texas", "TX"]
}
```

### Pricing

You pay **per job returned**. Filters are free, so you only pay for the rows you actually want. Set
**Maximum jobs** or a max charge per run, and the run stops there.

### Data notes

- **Coverage:** public career sites hosted on Workday (`*.myworkdayjobs.com`), found through the Common Crawl web
  archive. Mostly large and mid-size employers: tech, finance, healthcare, universities, retail, manufacturing,
  energy. Not every Workday customer, and not the whole job market.
- **Update time:** daily, around 6:00 AM US Central. "New" means first seen in that day's update. Every site's
  newest jobs are checked daily.
- **Closed jobs:** each site is read in full at least once a week, so a closed job's `closedOn` date can be up
  to 7 days after it actually came down.
- **History:** Workday tracking began on 2026-09-29. Jobs that were already open when we first read a site show
  that date as `firstSeen` and are never counted as "new".
- **No salary, department or description:** Workday's job lists don't include them. Let us know in Issues if
  you need descriptions.
- **Public data only:** we read the same public job lists the career sites show visitors. No logins, and no
  personal data such as recruiter names or emails.

### FAQ

**How is this different from other Workday scrapers?** They need a list of career-site URLs and re-download
everything on every run. We already track thousands of sites daily, remove duplicates and mirror sites, and keep
the history, so "new since yesterday" and "closed" just work.

**Can you add a company?** Yes. Open an issue with the career site URL (it looks like
`https://company.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/SiteName`).

**Do you cover Greenhouse, Lever or Ashby too?** Yes, in a separate feed: **[Greenhouse, Lever & Ashby Jobs API: New Jobs Daily](https://apify.com/divi_cv/new-jobs-feed)**
(startups and tech companies, with salary ranges). For company-level totals, see
**[Hiring Signals API: Which Companies Are Hiring Now](https://apify.com/divi_cv/hiring-signals)**.

# Actor input Schema

## `mode` (type: `string`):

New jobs: posted in the last N days (our tracker diffs every Workday career site daily). Open jobs: everything currently open. Closed jobs: roles taken down in the last N days (filled or cancelled).

## `sinceDays` (type: `integer`):

For new and closed jobs. 1 = since yesterday's update. Maximum 30.

## `keywords` (type: `array`):

Return jobs whose title contains any of these words or phrases (whole-word match, so "AI" won't match "maintain"). Leave empty for all titles.

## `excludeKeywords` (type: `array`):

Skip jobs whose title contains any of these, e.g. intern, contract.

## `locations` (type: `array`):

Match any of these in the job location, e.g. "Chicago", "Texas", "London", "Remote". Jobs listed in several places show as "3 Locations".

## `workplace` (type: `array`):

Remote and/or hybrid. Workday listings rarely state this, so only jobs that say "remote" or "hybrid" in the title or location match.

## `companies` (type: `array`):

Only these companies, by name (e.g. "NVIDIA", "Salesforce").

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Stop after this many results. You're charged per job returned.

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "mode": "new",
  "sinceDays": 7,
  "keywords": [],
  "maxItems": 50
}
