### FAQ

**Does this cover trademarks (marques)?** Not currently. INPI's trademark/patent diffusion API on `data.inpi.fr` is account-gated behind Cloudflare and requires a registered INPI technical account, and the only fully-open trademark export is a multi-gigabyte static file that cannot be queried per request. This server therefore covers the fully-open INPI data: **RNE company legal acts + the INPI/OEB patent registry**. Trademark tools will be added if/when a no-auth INPI marques endpoint becomes available.

**What are "acts" here?** The open RNE-published registry facts: registration date, last update, administrative status, establishment counts, registered officers. Full scanned acts (statuts, PV, comptes annuels in PDF) require a free INPI account on data.inpi.fr and are not exposed by the open API.

**Why MCP instead of a regular scraper?** MCP lets an AI agent *decide* which tool to call dynamically - look up a company, then pivot to its patents - in a single agent loop.
