## Pricing

from $0.28 / 1,000 job scrapeds

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

## Ashby Jobs Scraper: Ashby Job Board API

Ashby Jobs Scraper exports **every open job from any company's Ashby job board** (jobs.ashbyhq.com), including salary ranges and full descriptions. Companies such as OpenAI, Ramp, Notion and Linear publish their open roles on Ashby. The actor reads Ashby's public posting API, so it needs no login, no browser and no proxy, and a board of 300 jobs finishes in about 2 seconds.

### What data do you get?

### Who uses it

- **Recruiters and sourcing teams**: track which startups open roles in your niche and what they pay.
- **Job boards and newsletters**: pull fresh startup jobs with salary data into your listings.
- **Investors and market analysts**: read hiring as a growth signal, by department and location.
- **Job seekers**: export every role at your target companies and filter it in a spreadsheet.

### How to use it

1. Click **Try for free**.
2. Paste company slugs or board URLs (the part after `jobs.ashbyhq.com/`), and add keyword filters if you want them.
3. Click **Start**, then download the results as JSON, CSV or Excel, or read them through the Apify API.

#### Input example

```json
{
  "companies": ["openai", "https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/ramp", "notion"],
  "keywords": ["engineer"],
  "remoteOnly": false,
  "includeDescription": true,
  "maxItems": 1000
}
```

| Input | What it does |
|---|---|
| `companies` | Slugs, board URLs or job URLs; duplicates are merged |
| `keywords` | Keep jobs whose title, department, team or location contains a word; others are never charged |
| `remoteOnly` | Keep only jobs marked remote |
| `includeDescription` | Full ad text in plain text and HTML (default on, free) |
| `maxItems` | Hard cap on results, so you control the cost |

#### Output example

Real item from a test run on 26 October 2026 (description shortened here):

```json
  "title": "Research Engineer",
  "department": "Research",
  "team": "Research",
  "employmentType": "FullTime",
  "location": "San Francisco",
  "secondaryLocations": [],
  "workplaceType": null,
  "isRemote": null,
  "city": "San Francisco",
  "region": "California",
  "country": "United States",
  "publishedAt": "2025-04-05T00:03:20.653+00:00",
  "compensationSummary": "$250K – $445K • Offers Equity",
  "salarySummary": "$250K - $445K",
  "salaryMin": 250000,
  "salaryMax": 445000,
  "salaryCurrency": "USD",
  "salaryInterval": "1 YEAR",
  "jobUrl": "https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/openai/240d459b-696d-43eb-8497-fab3e56ecd9b",
  "description": "By applying to this role, you will be considered for Research Engineer roles across all teams at OpenAI. ...",
  "descriptionHtml": "<p style=\"min-height:1.5em\">By applying to this role, ..."
}
```

### How much does it cost?

You pay **$0.40 per 1,000 jobs** (pay per event: one `result-item` event per saved job, $0.0004 each). Salary data and full descriptions are included, the only other charge is a $0.00005 start fee per run (one event per GB of memory, and the default 256 MB counts as one), and jobs removed by your keyword or remote filters are never charged. Set **Max results** to cap the cost of a run. Apify Bronze, Silver and Gold subscribers pay 10, 20 and 30 percent less per job.

### FAQ

**How do I find a company's slug?** Open the company's careers page. If its job links start with `jobs.ashbyhq.com/<slug>`, paste that slug or the whole link.

**What happens with a wrong slug?** The run logs a warning for that company and carries on with the others. You are not charged for it.

**Why is salary empty for some jobs?** Ashby only shows pay when the company chooses to publish it. The actor returns everything the board shows.

**How fast is it?** In testing, OpenAI's board of 790 jobs answered in one request and 300 jobs were saved in about 2 seconds.

**Can I monitor boards over time?** Yes. Use Apify Schedules and compare the `id` values between runs to spot new and closed jobs.

### Legal note

This actor collects public job postings that companies publish on their Ashby job boards for any visitor, through Ashby's public posting API. It does not collect applicant data or personal contact details. You are responsible for how you use the results, including compliance with the sites' terms and the privacy laws that apply to you.
