## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Website Contact Details Scraper — Emails, Phones, Socials

Turn a list of websites into a **lead list**: emails, phone numbers, social profiles, company name and address, one row per website.

### Pay only for results

You are charged **once per website where at least one email, phone or social profile is found**, however many pages are scanned. Websites with nothing found, or that can't be reached, are still listed so you know, but cost nothing.

### What it finds

- **Emails** from mailto links, structured data and the page text, with addresses on the company's own domain first. Image file names, tracking and placeholder addresses are filtered out.
- **Phone numbers** from click-to-call links and structured data only, so you don't get random digit strings.
- **Social profiles**: LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, YouTube, TikTok, Pinterest, GitHub, Telegram, WhatsApp, Threads. Share buttons are ignored.
- **Company name and postal address** when the site publishes them as structured data.

It scans the home page plus up to 9 contact, about, imprint (Impressum), legal and team pages in English, German, French, Spanish and Italian.

### Input

```json
{"websites": ["sonnen.de", "https://www.bakery.com"], "maxPagesPerSite": 5}
```

Paste domains from a Google Maps or CRM export; duplicates are removed.

### Output

```json
{"website": "sonnen.de", "url": "https://sonnen.de/", "domain": "sonnen.de", "name": "sonnen GmbH",
 "emails": ["info@sonnen.de", "presse@sonnen.de"], "phones": ["+49830492933400"],
 "facebook": ["https://facebook.com/sonnende"], "instagram": ["https://instagram.com/sonnen_de"],
 "linkedin": ["https://linkedin.com/company/sonnengmbh"], "youtube": ["https://youtube.com/@sonnende"],
 "twitter": [], "tiktok": [], "address": "Am Riedbach 1, 87499, Wildpoldsried, DE",
 "pages_scanned": ["https://sonnen.de/", "https://sonnen.de/kontakt/"]}
```

### Limits

- Pages are fetched without a browser, so content that appears only after JavaScript runs is not seen. A few sites block automated visitors; they are listed with the error.
- Only publicly published business contact details. Make sure your use of the data complies with GDPR and anti-spam rules where you operate.

### Also available as an API

The same lookup is available per call over HTTP (x402, paid in USDC) and as an MCP tool for AI assistants at https://bess-x402.onrender.com.
