## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## French B2B prospect builder (SIRENE)

Build a scored B2B prospect list from the **official French company registry**
(SIRENE + RNE, via the open `recherche-entreprises.api.gouv.fr` API). No API key,
no login, open data only.

### What you get

One dataset item per company, with:

- legal name, trade name, SIREN / SIRET
- main activity (NAF/APE code) and its section
- full address, postcode, city, department, GPS coordinates
- employee bracket, creation date, number of open establishments
- **manager name** (from the national business register)
- a **0-100 quality score** with the reasons for that score

### Why this data is trustworthy

It is not scraped. The source is the French government's open company registry,
which is legally redistributable (open licence). Records are refreshed daily by
the administration, so you don't get stale listings or broken markup.

### Typical uses

- local B2B prospecting (trade, services, professionals)
- building a supplier / partner directory
- market sizing by activity and department
- CRM enrichment with manager names and employee brackets

### Filters

| Input | What it does |
|---|---|
| `activityCodes` | NAF/APE codes, e.g. `45.20A` (car repair), `56.10A` (restaurants), `43.22A` (plumbing) |
| `departments` | French department codes (`69`, `2A`, `971`) |
| `postalCodes` | narrow to a single city |
| `employeeRanges` | INSEE brackets (`00` = 0 employees … `21` = 50-99, `NN` = unknown) |
| `minScore` | drop weak prospects |
| `onlySingleSite` | exclude multi-site groups |
| `excludeNetworks` | remove known chains (Norauto, Speedy, Midas…) |
| `maxResults` | hard cap, your spending ceiling |

### Pricing

Pay only for the prospects you actually receive (one event per dataset item).
500 prospects cost about $15, and you can cap any run with `maxResults`.

Looking for a higher-value per-row product? Use the companion Actor
**French company enricher**, which returns a complete company file per SIREN.

### Notes

- Filtering is applied to the company's **main** activity, not to any of its
establishments, so you don't get a logistics group because one branch repairs cars.
- No phone or email: the official registry does not publish them. This Actor is
the list; contact enrichment is a separate step.

# Actor input Schema

## `activityCodes` (type: `array`):

## `employeeRanges` (type: `array`):

00 = 0 salarié, 01 = 1-2, 02 = 3-5, 03 = 6-9, 11 = 10-19, 12 = 20-49, 21 = 50-99, NN = non renseigné. Laisser vide pour tout accepter.

## `minScore` (type: `integer`):
