## Pricing

from $2.10 / 1,000 drupal site checkeds

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Drupal Version & End-of-Life Checker (Drupal 10 EOL)

**Drupal 10 reaches end of life on 9 December 2026** — no security updates after that date. The same week, security
support ends for Drupal 10.6.x and 11.3.x, and Drupal 12 is released. Drupal 10.5.x and 11.2.x already lost support at
the end of June 2026, and Drupal 7 reached end of life on 5 January 2025.
(Source: [Drupal core release schedule](https://www.drupal.org/about/core/policies/core-release-cycles/schedule).)

This Actor checks any list of websites and tells you, for each:

- **Is it Drupal?** (generator header and tag, Drupal markers, cache headers)
- **Which version** — the major version from the generator, and often the **exact core version** from the `?v=` cache
  key on core assets (for example `10.6.11`)
- **Support status** and the **date security support ends**, with a plain-language message

Built for **Drupal agencies** (find sites that need a Drupal 10 → 11 upgrade before December), **IT and security teams**
(audit your organisation's web estate) and **site owners**.

### Input

```json
{ "siteUrls": ["https://www.example.org", "university.example.edu"] }
```

Or pass `siteListUrl`: a CSV/TXT file or a published Google Sheets CSV link (any column with a domain or URL).

### Output

```json
{
  "url": "https://www.example.com",
  "isDrupal": true,
  "version": "10.6.11",
  "major": 10,
  "versionSource": "core asset versions (?v=)",
  "support": "eol-soon",
  "securitySupportEnds": "2026-12-09",
  "message": "Drupal 10 reaches end of life on 9 Dec 2026 (43 days): no security updates after that. Plan the upgrade to Drupal 11 (11.4+) now."
}
```

| `support` | Meaning |
|---|---|
| `end-of-life` | Drupal 7, 8 or 9: no security updates any more |
| `eol-soon` | Drupal 10: end of life on 9 Dec 2026 |
| `unsupported-minor` | An old Drupal 10/11 minor (e.g. 10.5, 11.2) that no longer gets security updates |
| `minor-ending` | Drupal 11.3: support ends the week of 7 Dec 2026 |
| `supported` | Drupal 11.4 or later |
| `unknown-version` | Drupal, but the version is hidden |
| `not-drupal` | Not a Drupal site (not charged) |
| `unreachable` | Couldn't load the page, e.g. bot protection (not charged) |

### Pricing

Pay per **Drupal site** found. Sites that aren't Drupal or can't be loaded are free.

### Good to know

- Only the public home page is read; nothing is logged into, and no admin paths are probed.
- Sites that hide their generator and aggregate assets show as `unknown-version`; the site owner can confirm the version
  in *Reports → Available updates*.

### FAQ

**When does Drupal 10 reach end of life?** On 9 December 2026. After that, Drupal 10 gets no security releases.

**Which Drupal versions are still supported in late 2026?** Drupal 11.3 until the week of 7 December 2026, and Drupal
11.4 (and later). Drupal 12 is released the week of 7 December 2026.

**How do I find out which Drupal version a site runs?** This Actor reads the `X-Generator` header, the generator meta tag
and the version keys on core assets. For your own site, *Reports → Available updates* in the admin shows it exactly.
