- **One list for names and file numbers.** Enter company names, Delaware file numbers, or both, one per line; a line of digits is looked up as a file number. Duplicates across lines are delivered once.
- **Prefix or exact matching.** A name finds every entity whose name starts with it; quotes or the *Exact name match* switch return that one entity.
- **Entity details** — formation date (as shown and as an ISO date), entity kind and type, residency, state of formation, and the registered agent's name, street address, city, county, state, ZIP code and phone. Turn details off for a faster, cheaper list of file numbers and names.
- **Nothing silently missing.** Every record carries `detail_status` (`ok`, `not_requested`, `restricted`, `unavailable`); a search with no match adds a `not_found` row.
- **The registry's 50-match limit is flagged** on every record from a search that reached it, with advice in the run log on how to narrow the search.
- Every run ends with a plain-language status line saying what was delivered and anything that needs attention.
