## Pricing

from $4.00 / 1,000 page scrapeds

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Facebook Pages Scraper: Exact Followers, Category & Verified

Turn a list of **Facebook pages** into **one clean row per page**: page name, **category**, **exact follower count**,
**verified badge**, the **confirmed owner** Facebook shows, intro, **websites**, the page ID for the **Meta Ad
Library**, and the **reactions, comments and shares** of the latest post. Paste 2 pages or 5,000 and get a table ready
for competitor tracking, social media reports or your CRM. Only public page data is collected, without logging in, and
you pay only for pages that were read.

### What does Facebook Pages Scraper do?

- **Exact follower counts**: reads the exact number Facebook publishes for the page (11,286,417, not "11M"). When
  Facebook shows only a rounded number, the row says so (`followersIsRounded: true`), so rounded numbers never sneak
  into your growth charts.
- **Who is behind the page**: category, verified badge and the organization Facebook confirms is responsible for the
  page (`confirmedOwner`).
- **Links for the next step**: the websites listed on the page and `adLibraryPageId`, the ID to look up the page's ads
  in the Meta Ad Library.
- **Latest post at a glance**: address, time, reactions, comments and shares of the first post Facebook shows to
  visitors.
- **No personal data**: no emails, phone numbers or street addresses are returned, contact details are removed from
  the intro text, and personal profiles are skipped for free.
- **Clear status on every row**: pages that are private, removed, restricted or blocked get a row with `status` and a
  plain-words `message`, and are **not charged**.

### Who uses it?

- **Brand and competitor monitoring**: follower growth, verified status and posting activity of competitors, week
  after week.
- **Social media agencies** building client reports and audits for many pages at once.
- **Influencer and partnership teams** checking public figures' and brands' pages before reaching out.
- **CRM and data teams** adding Facebook follower counts, category and websites to company records.
- **AI agents** that need a short, structured card for a Facebook page.

### How to use it

1. Click **Try for free**.
2. In **Facebook pages**, add page addresses such as `https://www.facebook.com/nasaearth`. To add more pages by short
   name, list names such as `nasaearth` in **Page names** too.
3. Click **Start**. Download the results as JSON, CSV or Excel, or use the API. The **Pages** view shows one row per
   page.

Options: **Maximum pages** caps how many pages a run reads (default 100; the run says how many pages were left out).
**Proxy country** sets the country of the residential
connection used to open the pages (default US); change it when a page shows different content in other countries.

### Use with AI agents (MCP)

AI assistants and AI agents can call this Actor through Apify's MCP server at [mcp.apify.com](https://mcp.apify.com)
or through the Apify API. Send the whole list of pages in one call and read one flat row per page: no images, no long
texts. Questions it answers well:

- "How many followers do these 20 brands have on Facebook, and which are verified?" Read `followers`,
  `followersIsRounded` and `isVerified`.
- "Who runs this Facebook page and what is its website?" Read `confirmedOwner` and `websites`.
- "Which page ID do I use to find this brand's ads?" Read `adLibraryPageId`.

Only `startUrls` is required (`pageNames` adds pages by name). Rows with a `status` other than `ok` are free and say why in `message`; an agent can
retry them later or skip them. Use `followersIsRounded` to avoid computing growth from rounded numbers.

### Input example

```json
{
  "startUrls": [
    { "url": "https://www.facebook.com/nasaearth" },
    { "url": "https://www.facebook.com/nike" }
  ],
  "pageNames": ["Starbucks"],
  "maxPages": 100,
  "proxyCountry": "US"
}
```

### Output example

A real row from a test run:

```json
{
  "status": "ok",
  "input": "https://www.facebook.com/nasaearth",
  "url": "https://www.facebook.com/nasaearth/",
  "pageId": "100064975200317",
  "username": "nasaearth",
  "name": "NASA Earth",
  "category": "Science Website",
  "isVerified": true,
  "confirmedOwner": "NATIONAL AERONAUTICS AND SPACE ADMINISTRATION",
  "followers": 11286403,
  "followersIsRounded": false,
  "talkingAbout": 12571,
  "wereHere": null,
  "intro": "Explore and learn more about our home planet. 🌎💚",
  "websites": ["https://science.nasa.gov/earth/"],
  "adLibraryPageId": "57242657138",
  "latestPost": {
    "url": "https://www.facebook.com/reel/2125558188099586/",
    "postedAt": "2026-11-02T19:37:35.000Z",
    "reactions": 107,
    "comments": 3,
    "shares": 13
  },
  "message": null,
  "scrapedAt": "2026-11-02T21:37:47.818Z"
}
```

#### Status values

| `status` | Meaning | Charged |
|---|---|---|
| `ok` | The page was read | Yes |
| `duplicate` | The line leads to the same page as another line (for example after Facebook redirects one name to another); that page is read and charged once | No |
| `not_available` | The page is private, removed, restricted to some countries or ages, or Facebook asks to log in to see it | No |
| `personal_profile_skipped` | The address is a personal profile, not a page | No |
| `blocked` | Facebook did not show the page after several tries | No |
| `invalid_input` | The line is not a Facebook page address (for example a group or a post) | No |

### How much does it cost?

You pay only for pages that were read (`status: ok`). No start fee. Prices per 1,000 pages read, by Apify plan:

| Event | Free | Bronze | Silver | Gold and up |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Page scraped | $7.00 | $5.00 | $4.50 | $4.00 |

- **Free**: pages that are not available, personal profiles, blocked pages, lines that are not page addresses and
  duplicates: lines that lead to the same page, even through a redirect, are charged once.
- The residential connection is included in the price.
- Set a **maximum cost per run** and the Actor stops cleanly before going over it; the run's status message says how
  many pages were not read.

Example on the Bronze plan: checking 2,000 competitor pages where 1,900 are read costs $9.50.

### FAQ

**Does it need my Facebook account or cookies?** No. It opens each page the way a visitor who is not logged in sees it.
It never logs in, never uses cookies or accounts, and never answers security checks.

**Why is a page `not_available`?** Facebook shows some pages only to logged-in users (age or country limits, private or
removed pages). The Actor does not try to get around that; such rows are free.

**Why `blocked`?** Facebook sometimes refuses automated visits. The Actor retries with a new residential connection a
few times, then gives up on that page for free. Run it again later or try another **Proxy country**.

**Why is `followersIsRounded` true for some pages?** For some pages Facebook publishes only a rounded number such as
2.1M. The Actor returns that number and flags it, rather than presenting it as exact.

**Is the latest post always the newest one?** It is the first post Facebook shows to visitors, which is usually the
newest but can be a pinned post. Check `postedAt`.

**Does it return emails, phone numbers or addresses?** No. These are never read from the page, email addresses
and phone numbers written in the intro text are removed, and WhatsApp and Messenger links are left out of `websites`.

### Limits

- Up to 5,000 pages per run; 5 pages are read at the same time, with a random pause between pages.
- One request per page (plus Facebook's own redirect for some names); no browser.
- Fields that Facebook shows only on other tabs of a page (creation date, reviews, ads running, address) are not
  included.
- The run stops in time to save its results before the run timeout; for very large lists give the run more time.

### Is it legal?

The Actor reads only public Facebook pages as a visitor who is not logged in. It never logs in, never uses cookies or
fake accounts, and never tries to get past security checks beyond using a different residential connection. It keeps
only the fields shown above and returns no emails, phone numbers or street addresses; personal profiles are skipped.
Pages of public figures and one-person businesses can still be personal data: you are responsible for how you use the
data and for following the laws and terms that apply to you (such as the GDPR).
