## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Naver Map Search Results Scraper

Extract business listings from Naver Map — search by keyword or paste place URLs and get structured place data: name, category, rating, review counts, phone, address, coordinates, hours, images, menus and more.

Works as an unofficial Naver Place / Naver Map data API for restaurants, cafés, hospitals, hotels, salons and general places.

### Features

- Keyword search exactly as on Naver Map (e.g. `강남 맛집`, `부산 애견 펜션`)
- Direct place URLs and `naver.me` short links
- Optional full place details (menus, blog reviews, amenities, transit, description)
- Fast list-only mode when you only need core listing fields
- Up to ~300 results per keyword

### Input

| Field | Type | Default | Description |
|-------|------|---------|-------------|
| `keywords` | array | — | Search terms as typed on Naver Map |
| `urls` | array | — | Full place URLs or `naver.me` short links |
| `scrapePlaceDetails` | boolean | `true` | Add menus, reviews, amenities, transit, description |
| `maxResultsPerKeyword` | integer | all | Cap per keyword (max ~300) |
| `proxyConfiguration` | object | — | Optional proxy (KR residential recommended) |

Provide `keywords`, `urls`, or both.

#### Input example

```json
{
  "keywords": ["강남 맛집", "만두집"],
  "urls": ["https://map.naver.com/p/entry/place/11724463"],
  "scrapePlaceDetails": true,
  "maxResultsPerKeyword": 100
}
```

### Output

Each place is one dataset item. Core fields:

| Field | Description |
|-------|-------------|
| `Name` / `Category` / `BusinessCategory` | Place identity |
| `OverallRating` / `ReviewCount` / `VisitorReviewCount` / `BlogReviewCount` | Ratings & counts |
| `Address` / `FullAddress` / `Contact` | Location & phone |
| `Latitude` / `Longitude` | Coordinates |
| `BusinessStatus` / `BusinessHours` | Open status |
| `Images` / `ImageCount` | Photos |
| `PlaceId` / `NaverMapUrl` | IDs & link |
| `MenuItems` / `Reviews` / `VisitorReviewKeywords` | Detail fields (when enabled) |
| `Amenities` / `PaymentInfo` / `SubwayStations` | Facilities & transit |
| `SearchKeyword` | Keyword that produced the row |

#### Output example

```json
{
  "Name": "신사교자냉삼",
  "Category": "한식",
  "BusinessCategory": "restaurant",
  "OverallRating": "4.91",
  "ReviewCount": 6418,
  "VisitorReviewCount": 1420,
  "BlogReviewCount": 4998,
  "Address": "강남대로152길 21 지상1층",
  "Contact": "0507-1341-4164",
  "Latitude": "37.5176262",
  "Longitude": "127.0211134",
  "PlaceId": "1707220837",
  "NaverMapUrl": "https://map.naver.com/p/entry/place/1707220837",
  "SearchKeyword": "강남 맛집"
}
```

### Tips

- Include a region in the keyword for better local ranking.
- Turn `scrapePlaceDetails` off for cheaper, faster list runs.
- If you hit bot checks from outside Korea, use a KR residential proxy.

# Actor input Schema

## `keywords` (type: `array`):

Search terms as typed on Naver Map (include a region for local results, e.g. 강남 맛집). Each keyword returns up to 300 places.

## `urls` (type: `array`):

Scrape specific places by full Naver Map URL or naver.me short link. Place ID is extracted automatically. Use alone or with keywords.

## `scrapePlaceDetails` (type: `boolean`):

When enabled, visit each place to add menus, blog reviews, website, amenities, payment methods, review keywords, transit info and description. Turn off for faster keyword runs that still return core listing fields. Place URLs always include full details.

## `maxResultsPerKeyword` (type: `integer`):

Maximum places to collect for each keyword (Naver returns at most ~300). Leave empty to collect all available. Does not apply to place URLs.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Optional proxy. A Korea (KR) residential proxy improves success against Naver bot checks.

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "keywords": [
    "강남 맛집"
  ],
  "scrapePlaceDetails": true,
  "maxResultsPerKeyword": 100,
  "proxyConfiguration": {
    "useApifyProxy": true,
    "apifyProxyGroups": [
      "RESIDENTIAL"
    ],
    "apifyProxyCountry": "KR"
  }
}
```

# Actor output Schema

## `overview` (type: `string`):

Table view of Naver Map places.

## `rawResults` (type: `string`):

All dataset items without a specific view.
