## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Career Page Jobs: Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable & more

**Every open job from company career pages, in one clean schema.** Paste company job-board links, careers-page URLs or just company names, and get each company's open roles from **Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable, SmartRecruiters and Recruitee**, with title, location, remote/hybrid flag, **salary range where the company publishes it**, posting date, apply link and the full description as plain text.

It reads each ATS's **official public job-board API**, the same feed the company's own careers page uses. No login, no browser, no proxies, so it's fast and cheap.

Great for:

- 🧑‍💼 **Recruiters and sourcers:** watch target companies for new roles
- 📊 **Market and talent research:** hiring trends, salary bands, remote share by company
- 🤖 **Job boards and AI agents:** a reliable, normalised feed of fresh jobs
- ⏰ **Alerts:** schedule it daily with **Only new jobs since last run** and pay only for new postings

### Input

| Field | What to put in | Default |
|---|---|---|
| `companies` | One per line: a job-board URL (`https://boards.greenhouse.io/stripe`, `https://jobs.lever.co/palantir`, `https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/ramp`, `https://apply.workable.com/huggingface`, `https://jobs.smartrecruiters.com/Ubisoft2`, `https://channable.recruitee.com`), `ats:slug` (e.g. `greenhouse:stripe`), a company careers-page URL (we look for the ATS link on the page), or a bare slug (we try every ATS) | – |
| `keywords` / `excludeKeywords` | Title must contain one of / none of these | – |
| `locations` | Location text must contain one of these (e.g. `Melbourne`, `Australia`, `remote`) | – |
| `remoteOnly` | Only remote jobs | off |
| `postedWithinDays` | Only jobs first published in the last N days | 0 (no limit) |
| `includeDescription` | Full description as plain text | on |
| `onlyNewSinceLastRun` | Remember returned jobs and output only new ones next time | off |
| `maxJobsPerCompany` / `maxJobsTotal` | Caps | 5,000 / 100,000 |

Example:

```json
{
  "companies": ["https://boards.greenhouse.io/stripe", "lever:palantir", "ramp"],
  "keywords": ["engineer"],
  "locations": ["remote", "australia"]
}
```

### Output

One row per job. Main fields: `title`, `companyName`, `ats`, `location`, `locations`, `workplaceType` (`remote` / `hybrid` / `onsite`), `remote`, `department`, `team`, `employmentType`, `postedAt`, `updatedAt`, `salaryMin`, `salaryMax`, `salaryCurrency`, `salaryPeriod`, `salaryText`, `url`, `applyUrl`, `descriptionText`. Download as JSON, CSV, Excel or via the API.

A **SUMMARY** record in the key-value store lists every company you asked for, which ATS was found, how many jobs were on the board and how many were returned, plus any errors (e.g. "no supported ATS found").

```json
{
  "ats": "ashby", "company": "ramp", "jobId": "34413f8d-…", "title": "Security Engineer, Cloud",
  "location": "New York, NY (HQ)", "workplaceType": "hybrid", "remote": true,
  "salaryMin": 211400, "salaryMax": 290600, "salaryCurrency": "USD", "salaryPeriod": "1 YEAR",
  "salaryText": "$211.4K - $290.6K", "postedAt": "2026-04-07T17:12:35.753Z",
  "url": "https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/ramp/34413f8d-…"
}
```

### Pricing

Pay per result: you're charged **per job returned** (after your filters). Companies that aren't found, filtered-out jobs and the SUMMARY record are free. Set a **maximum cost per run** in the run options and the Actor stops when it's reached.

### Notes and limits

- **Which fields are filled depends on the ATS.** Salary comes from Ashby, Lever and Recruitee when the company publishes it; Greenhouse puts pay in the description text. SmartRecruiters descriptions take one extra request per job.
- **Unlisted Ashby jobs are skipped**, and Recruitee drafts aren't returned. Only jobs the company publishes on its public board appear.
- **Careers-page detection** fetches the page you give (public websites only) and looks for links to a supported ATS. Companies with fully custom job sites (no supported ATS) are reported as NOT_FOUND in SUMMARY.
- Workday, iCIMS, Taleo and other ATSes aren't supported yet.
- The **only-new** memory is a named key-value store `career-page-jobs-state` in your own Apify account. Delete it to start fresh.

### Responsible use

This Actor only reads job postings that companies publish on purpose through their ATS's public job-board API: no logins, no private data, and nothing that bypasses access controls. Personal contact details (such as application mailbox addresses) are not included in the output. Please respect each company's and ATS's terms when you reuse the data.

# Actor input Schema

## `companies` (type: `array`):

One per line. Any of: a job-board URL (https://boards.greenhouse.io/stripe, https://jobs.lever.co/palantir, https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/ramp, https://apply.workable.com/huggingface, https://jobs.smartrecruiters.com/Ubisoft2, https://channable.recruitee.com), "ats:slug" (e.g. greenhouse:stripe), a company careers-page URL (the ATS is detected from links on the page), or a bare company slug (all ATSes are tried). Up to 500.

## `ats` (type: `string`):

Which ATS to try for bare company slugs. Auto tries all of them (a few extra requests per company).

## `keywords` (type: `array`):

Only keep jobs whose title contains at least one of these (case-insensitive), e.g. engineer, data, marketing.

## `excludeKeywords` (type: `array`):

Drop jobs whose title contains any of these, e.g. intern, senior.

## `locations` (type: `array`):

Only keep jobs whose location text contains one of these, e.g. Melbourne, Australia, London, remote.

## `remoteOnly` (type: `boolean`):

Only keep jobs the ATS marks as remote (or whose location says Remote).

## `postedWithinDays` (type: `integer`):

Only keep jobs first published in the last N days (when the ATS gives a date). 0 = no limit.

## `includeDescription` (type: `boolean`):

Adds the full description as plain text. Turn off for smaller, faster output.

## `onlyNewSinceLastRun` (type: `boolean`):

Remembers jobs already returned (in a named key-value store in your account) and only outputs new ones next time. Ideal for scheduled runs: you only pay for new jobs.

## `stateKey` (type: `string`):

Use different names to keep separate only-new memories for different schedules (letters, numbers and dashes).

## `maxJobsPerCompany` (type: `integer`):

Cap per company after filters.

## `maxJobsTotal` (type: `integer`):

Stop after this many jobs across all companies (also bounded by your maximum cost per run).

## `maxConcurrency` (type: `integer`):

How many companies are fetched at once.
