## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Mytheresa Catalog Scraper

This actor collects the product catalog of Mytheresa — designer fashion, shoes,
bags and accessories — from the US store view (prices in USD, sizes shown in US
scale). Paste a link or type a search term, and every matching product arrives
in your results with its price, availability, images and designer details.

### How it works

1. Paste one or more links from mytheresa.com:
   - the home page collects the **whole catalog** (every category, all four
     departments — Women, Men, Kids, Life);
   - a category link (for example `https://www.mytheresa.com/us/en/women/shoes`)
     collects **just that category** — filters in the link (color, size, sort)
     are respected.
2. Or type one or more search terms, and the actor collects everything the
   website's own search returns for each of them, in the department you pick
   (Women by default).
3. Choose how many results you want in total (leave 0 to collect everything).
4. Start the actor — results appear as they are collected, so you can watch the
   progress live.

The same product sold in several categories is delivered only once per run.
Products are always reported from the US store view in US dollars, regardless
of where the actor runs.

### What you pay

You only pay for what the actor actually does:

| What | Price | In plain words |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Starting the actor | $0.00005 | A tiny fixed amount each time you run it. |
| Pages visited | $0.0002 | A small amount for every listing page the actor opens to find your products. Each page holds up to 60 products. |
| Results saved | $0.004 | The main cost — only for products that actually land in your results. |

**Example:** a run that visits 20 pages and saves 1,000 products costs about
**$4.00**.

You can set a maximum spend per run, and the actor stops safely when it is
reached.

### What you get

Each result is one product with:

| Field | What it is |
| --- | --- |
| sku, productUrl | The product's unique code and its page on the website. |
| name, designer, designerId | What the product is and who makes it. |
| price, originalPrice, priceMajor, originalPriceMajor | Current and pre-discount price, in whole cents and in dollars. |
| discountPercent | How much is taken off ("0%" for full-price items). |
| currency, countryCode, language | Always USD, US, English — the US store view. |
| hasStock, isPurchasable | Whether the product can be bought right now. |
| availableSizesUS | The US sizes currently in stock. |
| variantSku, variantSize, variantSizeHarmonized, variantHasStock, variantStockHint | Details of the product's size grid (first size on the grid). |
| color, categoryPath, categoryErpPath, taxons, breadcrumb, listTitle | Where the product sits in the catalog (color, category chain, page context). |
| images | Product photo links. |
| labels, labelIds, promotionLabels | Merch tags like "new season" or sale badges. |
| description | The product's marketing text. |
| seasonCode, waregroup, sizeType | Season, product group, and the size system of the grid. |
| sizesOnStock, sizeTag, hasMultipleSizes, hasSizeChart, isSizeRelevant | Extra size information exactly as the website reports it. |
| sellerOrigin, enabled, isComingSoon, isInWishlist | Shop-internal flags, as displayed. |
| searchQuery, attributionToken | For search runs: the term used and the search reference. |
| websiteName, competenceDate | Store name and the date the data was collected. |

If one of your links is broken or a page fails, you get a clearly marked error
entry for it and the run continues with the rest of your links.

# Actor input Schema

## `startUrls` (type: `array`):

Links from mytheresa.com where collecting starts. Paste the home page (https://www.mytheresa.com/us/en/) to collect the whole catalog, a category page (e.g. https://www.mytheresa.com/us/en/women/shoes) to collect just that category, or a search results link. Results are always from the US store view in USD.

## `searchQueries` (type: `array`):

Optional. Search terms to run on the website's own search (in the department chosen below). Each term collects all matching items.

## `searchDepartment` (type: `string`):

Which department's collection the search runs in.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Stop after this many items in total (0 = no limit).

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Apify Proxy settings. Uses the datacenter group unless residential is explicitly selected.

## `failOnEmptyResults` (type: `boolean`):

If true, the run fails when no items are collected.

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "startUrls": [
    "https://www.mytheresa.com/us/en/"
  ],
  "searchDepartment": "women",
  "maxItems": 100,
  "proxyConfiguration": {
    "useApifyProxy": true
  },
  "failOnEmptyResults": false
}
```

# Actor output Schema

## `results` (type: `string`):

One item per product: designer, name, color, price in US dollars, sizes in stock, photos and the product page link. A link that cannot be collected (for example a dead or unsupported address) appears in the same list as a clearly-marked error row, so nothing is silently skipped.
