## Pricing

from $16.00 / 1,000 websites with emails

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Email Finder: Website Email & Phone Extractor

Give it a list of company websites. It returns the contact emails and phone numbers each site
publishes, and the page where each email was found. Useful for lead lists, local-business
outreach, supplier directories and CRM enrichment.

### What it does

For every website it:

1. Loads the homepage plus `/contact`, `/contact-us` and `/about`.
2. Follows the site's own links (3 at most, same domain) whose address or text mentions
   **contact, about, team, impressum or support** (turn off with `followContactLinks: false`).
3. Collects emails from `mailto:` links, visible text and embedded page data.
4. Removes junk: image/asset names, tracking addresses (Sentry, Wix), placeholder emails, and
   emails on other domains unless the site's own contact page links to them.
5. Collects `tel:` phone numbers and drops truncated ones (a US/Canada number needs 10 digits,
   an international `+` number needs 8).

No login, no browser, no proxy. Plain page fetches, so runs are fast and cheap.

### Input

```json
{
  "urls": ["https://www.stumptowncoffee.com", "katzsdelicatessen.com"],
  "followContactLinks": true,
  "maxContactLinks": 3
}
```

Every field has a default, so an empty input `{}` runs a one-site example.

### Output

One item per website:

```json
{
  "url": "https://www.stumptowncoffee.com",
  "domain": "stumptowncoffee.com",
  "found": true,
  "emails": ["info@stumptowncoffee.com"],
  "emailSources": { "info@stumptowncoffee.com": "https://www.stumptowncoffee.com/" },
  "phones": [],
  "followedLinks": ["https://www.stumptowncoffee.com/pages/contact"],
  "statuses": { "/": 200, "/contact": 404, "/contact-us": 404, "/about": 200 }
}
```

Download as JSON, CSV or Excel from the run's dataset.

### Use it from code, n8n, Make or an AI agent

- **API:** `POST https://api.apify.com/v2/acts/eliai~website-email-phone-finder/run-sync-get-dataset-items?token=YOUR_TOKEN`
  with the input above as the JSON body returns the rows directly.
- **No-code:** the Apify integrations for n8n, Make and Zapier run it as one step and hand the rows
  to your CRM or sheet.
- **AI agents:** Apify's MCP server (`https://mcp.apify.com`) exposes this Actor as a tool, so an
  agent can look up a company's contact email mid-task.

### Pricing

**$0.02 per website with emails.** A website where no email is found costs nothing, and a site
with five emails costs the same as a site with one.

### Limits

- Sites that block data-center traffic (HTTP 403 on every page) return no emails. `statuses`
  shows this per page so you can tell a block from a site with no public email.
- Only emails the website publishes are returned. It does not guess addresses or look them up in
  third-party databases.
- Pages that build their content entirely in the browser after load may show fewer results.

### FAQ

**Does it verify the emails?** No, it reports what the site publishes. Pair it with an email
validator if you need deliverability checks.

**Can I pass bare domains?** Yes. `example.com` is treated as `https://example.com`.

## `maxContactLinks` (type: `integer`):

How many contact-like links to follow per website (0-10).

## Actor input object example

```json
  "urls": [
    "https://www.stumptowncoffee.com",
    "https://www.katzsdelicatessen.com"
  ],
  "followContactLinks": true,
  "maxContactLinks": 3
}
```

# Actor output Schema

## `results` (type: `string`):

One item per website: emails, phones, where each email was found.

## `resultsCsv` (type: `string`):

The same items as a spreadsheet-ready CSV.
