## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Local B2B Lead List Builder

Deduplicated local business leads with role email, phone and a fit score, as a CRM-ready CSV.

### Who it's for

Agency owners and sales reps starting outreach in a new city or niche who want a clean list they can import into a CRM today.

### What you get

Up to 100 local businesses for a niche and area, one row each: name, address, general phone in international format, website, a public role email such as info@ or reception@, a fit score from 0 to 100 with its named reasons, and a Maps link as source. A CSV comes in the same reply.

- Only open businesses with an address inside your area; duplicates are merged.
- Business-level contact data only. Personal addresses, named people and mobile numbers are dropped and counted. Businesses whose name reads like a person (often sole traders) keep phone and website but get no email.
- The fit score follows visible rules (niche match, your keywords, reviews, rating, website, role email, social presence); the same inputs give the same score.
- A coverage block shows places found, in area, open, unique, crawled and delivered, and why the rest were left out. If fewer rows qualify than you asked for, you get fewer, never padding.

One lead_delivered unit is one delivered row. An empty list is an error and is not charged.

### Example

"Find 100 dental clinics in Utrecht province with a website and a public email, and rank them by how well they fit our booking software."

### Limits

- At most 100 rows per call; 200 listings and 200 websites are examined at most.
- Listings come from Google Maps, contacts from each business's own public pages (start page plus two linked pages).
- You stay responsible for lawful outreach to the people behind these inboxes.
- Search terms and business websites are passed to Apify to run the scrapers. Nothing is stored after the run.

### How to use

- **Run it** in Apify Console or through the API: choose what to do, fill in the fields for that tool and start. The result is one item in the run's dataset.
- **From an AI assistant** through Apify's MCP server (mcp.apify.com), which finds and runs this Actor with the same fields. What each choice does:
  - `find_local_leads`: Build a deduplicated list of local businesses for a niche and area, ready for a CRM.

### Pricing

- Lead delivered: $0.036

Failed calls are never charged.
