## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Zonaprop & Urbania Real Estate Scraper

Property listings from **Zonaprop Argentina** and **Urbania Peru**: apartments and houses, for sale and for rent. No browser, no login, fast and cheap to run.

### What you get

One record per listing, in the order the portal ranks them. Each record has price and currency, bedrooms, bathrooms, areas, address, location chain (neighbourhood, city, province), publisher, last modification date, description and the listing URL.

### Input

| Field | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| `site` | `ZPAR` | `URPE` | Zonaprop Argentina, Urbania Peru. Default `ZPAR`. |
| `operation` | `sale` | `rent` | Default `sale`. |
| `propertyType` | `apartments` | `houses` | Default `apartments`. |
| `locationSlug` | string | Zonaprop only. A location slug from Zonaprop URLs, for example `palermo` or `capital-federal`. Empty = the whole country. |
| `maxItems` | integer | Maximum listings to return (1 to 10000). Default 100. |

Example:

```json
{
    "site": "URPE",
    "operation": "sale",
    "propertyType": "apartments",
    "maxItems": 100
}
```

### Output

Real item from a run with the input above (description shortened here):

```json
{
  "id": "150328988",
  "site": "URPE",
  "title": "Moderno Departamento 286 m en Aurora Frente a Parque en Venta",
  "operation": "Venta",
  "propertyType": "Departamentos",
  "postingType": "PROPERTY",
  "price": 1652820,
  "currency": "S/",
  "rooms": null,
  "bedrooms": 3,
  "bathrooms": 3,
  "totalArea": 286,
  "coveredArea": 203,
  "address": "Aurora",
  "location": "Aurora, Miraflores, Lima, Lima",
  "publisher": "STM Inmobiliaria",
  "modifiedAt": "2026-10-09T17:28:31-0400",
  "description": "...",
  "imageCount": 8,
  "imageUrl": "https://img10.naventcdn.com/avisos/111/01/50/32/89/88/720x532/1615980699.jpg?isFirstImage=true",
  "url": "https://www.urbania.pe/inmueble/clasificado/veclapin-venta-de-departamento-en-aurora-miraflores-3-dormitorios-150328988"
}
```

`currency` is the portal's own symbol or code (`USD`, `ARS`, `S/`). Fields the listing does not declare are `null`, which is common for new developments (`postingType` is `DEVELOPMENT`): they have no bedrooms or areas of their own.

### Notes

- **Zonaprop serves only the first 9 pages (about 270 listings) of any search.** The actor stops there, logs a warning and returns what it got. To go deeper, run several searches with different `locationSlug` values.
- Urbania has no such limit and can be paged to the end of the results.
- Data comes from the JSON state that each portal embeds in its search results pages.
- Only publicly visible listings are collected.

### Pricing

Pay per event: **USD 0.002 per listing** (USD 2 per 1,000 listings). The default input (100 listings) costs about USD 0.20. Apify platform usage is included in the price.

### Use cases

- Real estate market research in Argentina and Peru: prices and areas by neighbourhood.
- Investors and agencies: monitor new listings for sale or rent.
- Property data for apps, maps and dashboards: price, rooms, areas and publisher.
- Scheduled monitoring: run the actor daily and send results to a spreadsheet or webhook.

### FAQ

**Do I need an account or a proxy?** No. You only choose the site, operation and property type.

**Why do I get fewer listings than `maxItems` on Zonaprop?** Zonaprop stops serving results after about 9 pages per search, so use `locationSlug` to split a big search into smaller ones.

**Is the price in dollars or local currency?** Each listing keeps the portal's own currency in `currency` (`USD`, `ARS`, `S/`).

**Can I call it from my own code?** Yes, through the Apify API or the Python and JavaScript clients, and with integrations such as Make, Zapier or n8n.

# Actor input Schema

## `site` (type: `string`):

Which portal to scrape.

## `operation` (type: `string`):

Listings for sale or for rent.

## `propertyType` (type: `string`):

Apartments or houses.

## `locationSlug` (type: `string`):
