## Pricing

Pay per usage

This Actor is paid per platform usage. The Actor is free to use, and you only pay for the Apify platform usage, which gets cheaper the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

## Chilean Case Law & Legal Search

Search **~100,000 Chilean court decisions and tax rulings** (jurisprudencia chilena) and get structured, citable results: court, case number (rol), date, holding, summary, key passages and a link to the source.

Built for **legal AI products, RAG pipelines and AI agents** that need grounded answers on Chilean law, with a citation for every result.

### What you get for each result

| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| `court`, `caseNumber`, `date` | Court, case number (rol) and date: what a Chilean lawyer needs to cite it |
| `holding` | The legal rule the decision applied |
| `summary`, `legalIssue` | What the case was about |
| `passages` | Up to two key passages (considerandos) matching your query |
| `decision` | Outcome, when available |
| `normsCited` | Statutes cited |
| `statuteText` | For statute articles: current text from LeyChile |
| `url` | Page for the document on constitucionalai.com |

Results are in Spanish, as issued by the courts.

### Sources

Chilean Supreme Court and Courts of Appeals, Constitutional Court, Comptroller General (Contraloría), Internal Revenue Service (SII) rulings and circulars, Competition Tribunal (TDLC), Tax and Customs Courts (TTA), environmental and other administrative bodies. Updated continuously.

### How to use it

1. Add one or more **queries** in Spanish. Short technical terms work best: `nulidad del despido cotizaciones impagas`, `impuesto de timbres descuento de pagarés`.
2. Optionally pick a **legal area** and the number of results per query (up to 10).
3. Run. Results land in the dataset, one row per document, tagged with the query and its rank.

Using an AI agent? This Actor is available as a tool through the [Apify MCP server](https://docs.apify.com/platform/integrations/mcp).

### Pricing

Pay per search: you are billed **one `search` event per query that returns results**. Queries with no results are free.

### Fair use

This Actor is meant for research and for powering legal applications, not for copying the database. Daily volume per account is limited. **For bulk or full-text dataset licensing, contact hola@constitucionalai.com.**

# Actor input Schema

## `queries` (type: `array`):

One search per item. Short technical terms work best, in Spanish (e.g. "nulidad del despido cotizaciones impagas"). Each query is billed as one search.

## `legalArea` (type: `string`):

Optional. Restrict results to one area of law.

## `maxResultsPerQuery` (type: `integer`):

Documents returned per search (1-10).
