- **Company first.** A company can be entered by name, website or careers page; the Actor finds its
  board and says how (`detectedVia`).
- **Twelve job systems:** SmartRecruiters, Workable, Recruitee, Personio, Teamtailor, BambooHR, Breezy
  HR and Rippling join Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby and Workday. Each reads the open endpoint the system
  serves to the company's own careers page; all eight answered from Apify's servers on 2026-10-30.
- **A summary row per company** (`recordType: "company"`): open jobs, new in 7 and 30 days, remote and
  hybrid counts, top departments and locations, seniority and employment-type mix, median pay, jobs
  closed since the last check. *Rows to return* picks jobs, companies or both.
- **Priced per company checked** instead of per job, with a cheaper repeat check for monitoring.
  Companies not found, failed or entered twice are free. The directory search stays per job.
- A board found by guessing a name that lists no jobs is no longer taken as the company's.
