## Changelog

One entry per pushed build. Field renames and removals are breaking changes and are announced here a release
ahead.

### 0.0 (not yet pushed), 2026-10-08

First version.

- Eight official registers behind one input and one output schema: France (Sirene, through the API Recherche
d'entreprises), Norway (Enhetsregisteret), Finland (YTJ and Trade Register), Czechia (ARES), Switzerland
(Zefix), Estonia (e-Business Register), Slovakia (RPO) and Poland (KRS).
- Search by company name in seven of them (`queries`); Poland by KRS number only. Lookup by registration
number in all eight (`registrationNumbers`), with shape and check digit verified before any request.
- `activeOnly`, `maxResultsPerQuery`, `maxResults` and the optional `includeLei` (GLEIF).
- Output: 25 fields per row, always present. France also fills `financials`, `establishmentsCount` and the
coordinates of the registered office; `purpose` where the register publishes one.
- Company data only: no officers, owners or representatives; sole traders are skipped and counted.
- One charged event, `company-record`, per company found. Lookups that find nothing give a free row with
  `found: false` and a reason.
- `RUN_SUMMARY` with the outcome of every lookup, which registers answered, and the matches each register
  reports for a name.
- A register that refuses or keeps failing is left alone for the rest of the run; the others go on.
- Progress is saved after every lookup. A restarted run asks at most the lookup each register had in hand
again and stores no company twice.
- From the verification of 2026-10-08, before the first push: stored companies are counted from the
`company-record` events charged, so a push cut at the maximum charge is never believed whole; a run that
the platform moves to another server waits for its restart instead of ending as succeeded with part of
the list; an entry whose legal form the register does not state is withheld like a sole trader, and so
are Norwegian estates and other entries that are not legal entities; a web page or a cut-off body where
data belongs counts as the register not answering, not as a changed format; a Swiss company in
liquidation has the status `liquidation`; a Czech name with more than 1,000 matches fails with a
sentence that says to write the name more fully or use the IČO.
