## Changelog

### 0.1 (2026-10-07)

- First build. Looks companies up on North Data by name, German register number or company page URL
and returns one row per company: register entry, legal form, status, address, LEI, industry,
purpose, founding date, share capital, published financials per year (newest first) and, when
asked for, the dated events of its history as date and type.
- Company-level data only. Officers and other people are counted in `officersOmitted` and never
returned; search results about people are not opened; sole traders are skipped and counted; a name
the source lists without a register entry is not returned.
- A business gets a row only when its page shows a company or another organisation: a legal form in
the name, a register that holds no natural persons, or a director among its representatives. An
entry that shows none of these may be a person in business; it is skipped and counted in
`possibleSoleTradersSkipped`. A person's URL is refused in both shapes the source uses.
- Charges the `company-record` event once per company found. An entry that finds nothing gets a row
with `found: false` and no charge. A restarted run skips finished entries and stores no company
twice; lookups the source did not answer are asked again. A run that the platform moves to
another server waits for its restart instead of ending with part of the list.
- One request at a time with a pause of at least one second, no proxy. A 403 or a bot check ends the
  run with a clear message.
- Not built, and said so in the README: employee numbers (the source shows them to paying
subscribers only), classification codes, country filter, corporate network, risk grades.
