## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Google Hotels Prices: Rates, Ratings & Stars by Destination and Date

Get Google Hotels prices for many destinations and check-in dates in one run, as clean rows you can sort, filter and export. No scraping on your side, no blocked runs, no proxies to pay for.

- **Per hotel:** name, star class, guest rating and review count, price for your dates, price before discount, discount text, currency, latitude and longitude, photo, and Google's hotel id
- **Many searches at once:** every destination is searched for every check-in date you add, so one run compares cities or tracks the same hotels across dates
- **Your stay:** nights, number of adults, currency and the country Google sees you searching from
- **Filters:** minimum stars, minimum guest rating, maximum price, name contains. Rows that fail a filter are never saved or charged
- **Scale:** up to 100 destination-and-date searches per run, up to 100 hotels each, up to 50,000 rows in total

Use it for hotel rate monitoring, comparing prices between cities or dates, finding the cheapest well-rated hotels, travel deal sites and feeding rates into a sheet or an AI agent. Pair it with *Google Sheets Import & Export (Reliable)* to push results into a spreadsheet on a schedule, and run it daily with the same dates to build a price history.

### Input

| Field | What to put |
|---|---|
| **Destinations** | City and country, one per line: `Lisbon, Portugal`, `Paris, France`, `Austin, Texas, United States` (the last part is the country, so Paris, France is not Paris, Texas). Searched as "hotels in ..." |
| **Check-in dates** | `2026-12-20` or `+30` (30 days from today). Empty means 30 days out |
| **Nights / Adults** | Length of stay and guests; rates depend on both |
| **Currency** | `USD`, `EUR`, `GBP`... |
| **Country for destinations without one** | Only used when a destination has no country; otherwise leave empty |
| **Hotels per search** | 10 to 100. Google returns about 20 at a time, so a larger number may return fewer than asked |
| **Maximum hotels** | Your cap and your spending limit |
| **Min stars, min rating, max price, name contains** | Free filters |
| **Keep hotels with no price** | Off by default: sold-out hotels without a rate are skipped and not charged |

### Output

One row per hotel and stay (`destination`, `rank`, `name`, `stars`, `rating`, `reviewCount`, `price`, `priceBeforeDiscount`, `discount`, `currency`, `checkIn`, `checkOut`, `nights`, `adults`, `sponsored`, `latitude`, `longitude`, `imageUrl`, `hotelId`, `searchLocation`):

| rank | name | stars | rating | price | currency | checkIn |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Hôtel Europe Saint-Séverin | 3 | 4.4 | 123 | USD | 2026-11-15 |

`price` is the rate Google lists for your dates in the currency you chose. From the values returned it looks like a per-night rate; taxes and fees depend on the hotel, so check the booking site before relying on a total. `stars` is empty when a property has no star class. `rank` is the order Google shows the hotels in; `sponsored` marks paid placements.

### Pricing

Pay per event: **$0.0008 per hotel row saved** ($0.80 per 1,000) plus Apify platform usage. You are not charged for hotels dropped by a filter, duplicates, or searches that fail.

### Notes

- Prices are what Google Hotels shows for the dates and guests you ask for; availability and price can change before booking.
- A run's searches usually finish in under a minute; searches still waiting after 10 minutes are skipped and not charged. Run them again.
- Data comes from a search data provider, not from scraping your IP, so a blocked-IP error does not happen. Hotel names, ratings and prices belong to their owners; this Actor is not affiliated with Google.

# Actor input Schema

## `destinations` (type: `array`):

City and country, one per line: Lisbon, Portugal | Paris, France | Austin, Texas, United States. The last part is the country. Each is searched as 'hotels in ...' on Google Hotels. Up to 100 searches (destinations times dates) per run.

## `checkInDates` (type: `array`):

One per line, as YYYY-MM-DD (2026-12-20) or +N for N days from today (+30). Every destination is searched for every date, which makes rate tracking easy: run it on a schedule with the same dates. Empty means 30 days from today.

## `nights` (type: `integer`):

Length of the stay in nights, 1 to 30. Google shows its rate for these dates.

## `adults` (type: `integer`):

Number of adult guests, 1 to 10. Rates depend on occupancy.

## `currency` (type: `string`):

Three-letter currency code for the prices, for example USD, EUR, GBP.

## `defaultCountry` (type: `string`):

Only used for a destination typed without a country (for example just Rome). Leave empty and always add the country: Google needs it to pick the right city, and there is a Paris in Texas.

## `languageCode` (type: `string`):

Two-letter language of the results, for example en, de, fr, es.

## `depth` (type: `integer`):

How many hotels to ask Google for per search, 10 to 100. Google returns about 20 at a time, so values above 20 may return fewer than asked. You are charged only for rows saved.

## `maxResults` (type: `integer`):

Stop after this many hotel rows. You are charged per row saved, so this is also your spending limit.

## `minStars` (type: `string`):

Only hotels with at least this many stars, 1 to 5. Hotels without a star class are dropped when this is set. Leave empty for no minimum.

## `minRating` (type: `string`):

Only hotels rated at least this high by guests, on Google's 5-point scale, for example 4.2. Leave empty for no minimum.

## `maxPrice` (type: `string`):

Only hotels priced at most this much, in the currency above, as Google shows it for your dates. Leave empty for no maximum.

## `nameContains` (type: `string`):

Only hotels whose name contains this text, for example Hilton or Hostel. Leave empty for all.

## `includeUnpriced` (type: `boolean`):

Google lists some hotels without a rate when they are sold out. They are skipped (and not charged) unless you turn this on.

```
# Actor output Schema
## `results` (type: `string`):
One row per hotel and stay: name, stars, guest rating, reviews, price for the dates, currency, location and photo.
## `summary` (type: `string`):
How many searches ran, hotels found and saved, searches that failed or did not finish, and whether the run stopped at your cost limit.
