## Changelog

### 2.0 (2026-09-27): OLX.ro cars, rebuilt for Romania

The Actor is now dedicated to **olx.ro passenger cars (Autoturisme)** and has been rebuilt from the ground up for them.

#### Improved

- **Reliable runs.** Collection is rebuilt from scratch, and every run ends with a clear status message saying what was collected. The prefilled test run returns 100 ads in seconds.
- **Faster and cheaper by default.** It reads 50 ads per request and needs no proxy. The default run is 100 ads.
- **134 brands** (was 44), and **models by the name shown on olx.ro** (e.g. "Logan", "Seria 3"). A model on its own is enough; the brand is filled in for you.
- **More filters, all applied by olx.ro itself:** all 41 counties (județe), condition (used / new), fuel (now including plug-in hybrid), gearbox, body type, colour, steering side, and mileage, power and engine-size ranges, next to year, price, seller type and keyword.
- **Price currency EUR or RON.** olx.ro converts every ad, so a price range in either currency finds ads listed in both, and each ad gets its converted price (`priceConverted`).
- **Paste any olx.ro search link** from your browser and the Actor collects exactly that search.
- **VIN kept for Romanian ads** whenever the seller shows it (about half of ads).
- **No duplicate promoted ads.** "Top ads" that olx.ro repeats on every results page are returned once.
- **Brand searches return only that brand.** Ads that olx.ro still files under the wrong brand are skipped.
- **Autovit mirrors flagged.** Every row carries `isAutovitCrossPost` and `autovitUrl`. The new **Skip ads mirrored from Autovit** option keeps only ads posted directly on olx.ro.
- **More than 1,000 ads per run.** Searches above olx.ro's 1,000-ads-per-search limit are split automatically by brand, year and price band.
- **Clearer output.** New seller details (member since, last online, phone and chat availability), location with coordinates, and five ready-made views: Car ads, Price check, Sellers, Vehicle details, Changes since last run.
- **The first monitoring run is free.** It builds the baseline and returns no rows.

#### Changed (please check saved tasks and schedules)

- **Romania only.** The `country` input is gone, and the Poland, Bulgaria, Portugal, Ukraine and Kazakhstan versions have been retired.
- **Removed inputs:** `country`, `excludeDamaged`, `firstOwnerOnly`, `serviceBookOnly`, `pageLimit`, `sliceYearStep`, `slicePriceStep`. Slicing is now automatic. The `conditionRaw` output field is gone as well.
- **County** is now a list of all 41 counties, and **Brands** accepts every brand name shown on olx.ro.
- **Monitoring and summaries use new store names** (`olx-ro-cars-state` default Monitor name, `olx-ro-cars-notifications`), so existing monitors start a fresh baseline on their first 2.0 run.
- Pricing is unchanged: $1.00 per 1,000 ads, now with lower prices on higher Apify plans.

### 1.x (May 2026): multi-country version

Versions 0.x to 1.2 covered OLX car ads in six countries (Romania, Poland, Bulgaria, Portugal, Ukraine, Kazakhstan). Over that period they added paste-a-URL input, brand and year/price filters, seller-type filtering, a within-run fair-price rating, incremental monitoring with repost detection, run-end summaries posted to a webhook, compact output with a description length limit and an only-this-currency filter. Everything that applies to olx.ro carried over into 2.0.
