## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## AliExpress Scraper — Products, Prices & Sold Counts

**AliExpress Scraper extracts product search results from aliexpress.com**: title, current price, original price, discount, units sold, star rating, images and whether the result is sponsored. Search by keyword or paste any AliExpress search/category URL, choose the country you shop from (language and currency follow it), and get clean JSON, CSV or Excel. No AliExpress account, no cookies, no API key.

### What data you get

| Field | Example |
|---|---|
| `productId` | `3256805934076564` |
| `url` | `https://www.aliexpress.com/item/3256805934076564.html` |
| `title` | `1Pcs Silicone Spoon Non-stick Cooking Spoon…` |
| `price` / `originalPrice` / `discountPercent` | `0.33` / `9.54` / `96` |
| `currency` / `priceText` | `USD` / `US $0.33` |
| `soldCount` / `soldText` | `5000` / `5,000+ sold` |
| `rating` | `4.9` |
| `imageUrl`, `images[]` | product images |
| `isAd` | `true` for sponsored cards |
| `promo` | `FREE with any purchase` on new-shopper promo cards (no price shown for those) |
| `listedSince` | `2023-10-12` (when AliExpress shows it) |
| `searchQuery`, `shipTo`, `page`, `position`, `scrapedAt` | context of the result |

Prices, sold counters and titles are exactly what a shopper in the selected country sees on the results page.

### Use cases

- **Product research & dropshipping:** find what sells (sort by most orders, read `soldCount`) and at what price.
- **Price monitoring:** schedule the same searches daily and track price and discount changes per `productId`.
- **Competitor & market analysis:** how many listings, price bands and ratings exist for a niche.
- **Catalog enrichment:** titles and images for product ideas, with the link back to AliExpress.
- **AI agents & automations:** call it from n8n, Make, Zapier or any MCP-compatible AI agent and get structured products back.

### How to use

1. Type one or more **search keywords** (or paste AliExpress search URLs).
2. Set **Max products** (60 per result page; pagination is automatic).
3. Pick the **country** you want to shop from (default US / English / USD).
4. Optional: sort order, price range, skip sponsored products.
5. Run, then download the dataset or read it through the API.

### Pricing

Pay per result: **US$1.80 per 1,000 products** (US$0.0018 each), plus a tiny Apify start fee per run. Proxy and browser costs are included — you pay only for products saved.

| Products | Price |
|---|---|
| 100 | US$0.18 |
| 1,000 | US$1.80 |
| 10,000 | US$18 |

You can set a maximum cost per run in Apify; the scraper stops cleanly when it is reached and keeps everything saved so far.

### Why this scraper

- **Works where plain HTTP scrapers break:** AliExpress shows an anti-bot slider after the first request from an IP. This actor opens pages in a real Firefox browser over residential IPs in the selected country, and rotates the session when a check appears.
- **Fast and lean:** images, fonts and styles are not downloaded — the product data is read from the page itself.
- **Clean numbers:** prices, discounts, ratings and sold counts are numbers, not strings ("10,000+ sold" → `10000`).
- **15 shopping countries:** US, GB, DE, FR, ES, IT, NL, PL, CA, AU, BR, MX, CL, KR, JP.

### Integrations

Use the Apify API, the JavaScript/Python clients, webhooks, scheduled runs, Google Sheets export, or connect it to **n8n, Make, Zapier** and **AI agents through the Apify MCP server**.

### FAQ

**Is scraping AliExpress legal?** The actor reads publicly visible search results only — no logins, no personal data. You are responsible for how you use the data and for complying with AliExpress terms and the laws that apply to you.

**Do I need a proxy?** No setup needed: Apify residential proxy in the selected country is used by default and included in the price.

**Why are titles in German / prices in EUR?** AliExpress localizes results by country. Choose `US` (or `GB`, `AU`, `CA`) for English.

**Why do some products have no price?** AliExpress mixes "FREE with any purchase" promo cards for new shoppers into results and does not show their price on the results page. They are kept (with title, sold count, rating and image) and marked in `promo`; filter them out with `price != null` if you only need priced products.

**How many products per search?** Up to 60 per page and about 60 pages per search. For more, split into narrower keywords or price ranges.

**Product details (descriptions, variants, shipping)?** Not in this version — it returns the search-result data. Tell us in Issues if you need product pages.

US$1,80 por 1.000 productos.

### Changelog
