## Pricing

from $1.50 / 1,000 events

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Eventbrite Scraper

Find events on Eventbrite by **city, keyword, date window, category, free/paid and online/in-person**. Each event comes with times and timezone, venue name and address, coordinates, ticket price range and currency, category, subcategory, organizer tags, the organizer brand and the event image.

No login and no API key. Only public event data: the actor never collects organizer emails, phone numbers or personal profile links.

### Input examples

Free tech events in London next month:

```json
{ "locations": ["London"], "keywords": ["tech"], "categories": ["science", "business"], "price": "free", "datePreset": "next_month", "maxItems": 200 }
```

Everything in Santiago and Austin between two dates:

```json
{ "locations": ["Santiago, Chile", "Austin, Texas"], "dateFrom": "2026-11-20", "dateTo": "2026-11-30", "maxItems": 500 }
```

Online events about Python:

```json
{ "eventFormat": "online", "keywords": ["python"], "maxItems": 100 }
```

Locations can be written as `City`, `City, Region/Country`, an Eventbrite `/d/` URL, or a slug such as `ny--new-york`. Names are matched with Eventbrite's own place lookup, so boroughs and smaller towns work too (`Brooklyn`, `Austin, Minnesota`).

### Output example

```json
{
  "eventId": "2000291872838",
  "name": "Let's Act - A Music & Mental Health Charity Concert",
  "url": "https://www.eventbrite.com/e/...-tickets-2000291872838",
  "startDateTime": "2026-10-22T18:30:00-04:00",
  "timezone": "America/New_York",
  "isOnline": false,
  "venueName": "pinkFROG cafe",
  "venueAddress": "221 North 9th Street, Brooklyn, NY 11211",
  "latitude": 40.7177608,
  "longitude": -73.9544456,
  "isFree": false,
  "minPrice": 17.85,
  "maxPrice": 17.85,
  "currency": "USD",
  "category": "Health & Wellness",
  "organizerName": "Stronger With Music"
}
```

### Limits

Eventbrite returns at most about 10,000 events per search. For big cities, combine keywords, categories or date windows (one run, several `keywords`) to go deeper.

### Pricing

Pay per result: each event saved is charged (event `event-result`), plus the small standard Apify start event. See the Pricing tab for current prices; paid Apify plans get lower rates.

### FAQ

**Are organizer contacts included?** No. Only the organization name, when it looks like a business or brand.
**Do I need a proxy?** The actor starts on Apify datacenter proxy and moves to residential automatically if Eventbrite blocks it.
**Can I get descriptions?** Turn on `includeDetails` (one extra page request per event).

# Actor input Schema

## `locations` (type: `array`):

Cities to search, one search per entry. Write 'City, Region/Country' (New York, NY - Austin, Texas - Santiago, Chile - London), an Eventbrite /d/ URL, or a place slug like ny--new-york. Ignored for online events.

## `keywords` (type: `array`):

Search words, one search per entry (jazz, startup networking, yoga). Leave empty for all events in the location.

## `eventFormat` (type: `string`):

In-person events in the chosen places, online events only (locations are ignored), or both.

## `datePreset` (type: `string`):

Date window. Overridden by the exact dates below when you set them.

## `dateFrom` (type: `string`):

Only events from this day on (YYYY-MM-DD). Optional.

## `dateTo` (type: `string`):

Only events up to this day (YYYY-MM-DD). Optional.

## `categories` (type: `array`):

Only events in these categories (any of them). Leave empty for all categories.

## `price` (type: `string`):

Free events only, paid events only, or both.

## `sortBy` (type: `string`):

Best match (Eventbrite ranking) or soonest first.

## `includeDetails` (type: `boolean`):

Open every event page to add its description and status (scheduled, cancelled, postponed). Slower: one extra request per event.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Maximum number of events to save in total.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Apify datacenter proxy by default. If Eventbrite blocks it, the actor switches to a residential proxy automatically.

```json
{
  "locations": [
    "New York, NY"
  ],
  "eventFormat": "all",
  "datePreset": "current_future",
