## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Naukrigulf Jobs Scraper - Gulf & MENA Jobs

Scrape job listings from **Naukrigulf.com**, the Gulf job board popular with South Asian and Arab professionals: **UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain, Egypt** and more. You get clean structured data per job: title, company, city and country, experience range, number of vacancies, skills, a short summary and responsibility highlights, and the posting date. No login, no cookies, no browser.

Pay only for the jobs you get: each job saved is charged.

### What you can do with it

- Monitor hiring in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, Doha and other Gulf cities, by role or industry.
- Feed a job aggregator, newsletter or recruiting CRM with fresh Gulf listings.
- Find companies that are hiring now (B2B lead lists) and how many openings they have.
- Compare demand by industry (construction, oil and gas, IT, hospitality, medical...) and by seniority.

### Input

| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| `keywords` | Job titles or skills (one search per entry). Empty = all jobs. |
| `locations` | Cities or countries (Dubai, Riyadh, Doha, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, UAE...). One search per entry. |
| `maxItems` | Maximum jobs to save (default 50, up to 100,000). |
| `experienceYears` | Candidate experience in years; returns jobs that accept that level. |
| `postedWithinDays` | Freshness: 1, 3, 7, 15, 30 or 60 days (other values round up). |
| `industries` | Industry filter (construction, IT, oil and gas, banking, hospitality...). When used, keywords are matched on title, skills and summary. |
| `onlyNamedCompanies` | Hide "Confidential Company" postings (often agencies). |
| `companyNames` / `excludeCompanyNames` | Keep or hide companies by name. |
| `proxyConfiguration` | Apify Proxy (default). Falls back to residential IPs automatically if blocked. |

Example:

```json
{
  "keywords": ["civil engineer", "project manager"],
  "locations": ["Dubai", "Abu Dhabi", "Riyadh"],
  "experienceYears": 8,
  "postedWithinDays": 7,
  "onlyNamedCompanies": true,
  "maxItems": 300
}
```

### Pricing

| Event | Charged per |
|---|---|
| Job scraped (`job-result`) | one job saved |
| Actor start | the standard Apify run-start event |

Jobs filtered out by your client-side options are never charged. Use `maxItems` and the maximum cost per run to cap spend. See the Pricing tab for current prices; paid Apify plans get lower rates.

### FAQ

**Does it return recruiter names, e-mails or phone numbers?** No. Only company and job data; e-mails and phone numbers inside texts are removed.

**Is salary included?** Naukrigulf does not publish salaries in its search results, so there is no salary field.

**Does it return the full job description?** The site exposes a summary, key responsibilities and skills for each job in its search data; the full text is rendered only inside the job page in the browser.

**How far back does it go?** Naukrigulf keeps jobs for up to 60 days.

# Actor input Schema

## `keywords` (type: `array`):

Job titles or skills, one search per entry (for example: sales manager, civil engineer, accountant). Leave empty for all jobs.

## `locations` (type: `array`):

Cities or countries, one search per entry (for example: Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, Doha, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, UAE). Leave empty for the whole region.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Stop after this many jobs. You are only charged for jobs saved.

## `experienceYears` (type: `integer`):

Only jobs that accept a candidate with exactly this many years of experience (for example 5 returns jobs asking 3-7 years). Leave empty for any.

## `postedWithinDays` (type: `integer`):

## `industries` (type: `array`):

Only jobs in these industries. When set, your keywords are matched against job title, skills and summary instead of the site's own search.

## `onlyNamedCompanies` (type: `boolean`):

Skip jobs posted as 'Confidential Company' (often recruitment agencies).

## `companyNames` (type: `array`):

Keep jobs whose company name contains one of these texts (for example: emaar, aramco). Leave empty for all.

## `excludeCompanyNames` (type: `array`):
