## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## XING Jobs Scraper — German Job Board, Cheap & Fast

XING Jobs Scraper collects public job ads from **xing.com/jobs** (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) as clean JSON: title, company, location, employment type, career level, discipline, industry, remote option, salary estimate, apply link and the **full job description** — in a single pass, with no extra detail requests. No login, no browser, no cookies. Job ads only: no member profiles.

It talks to the same search service the public XING job page uses, so it is fast: 1,000 jobs take about 45 seconds.

### What you can do with it

- Build German-language job feeds, alerts and aggregators.
- Find companies that are hiring right now (lead generation for recruiters, HR-tech and software vendors).
- Track demand for roles and skills by city or career level; benchmark salaries with XING's estimates.
- Monitor remote and hybrid offers in the DACH region.

### Features

- **Filters**: keywords, locations with radius, employment type (full-time, part-time, freelance, intern, seasonal, temporary), career level (student to executive), remote option (remote, hybrid, on-site), sort by relevance or newest.
- **Paste search URLs** from xing.com/jobs/search.
- **Goes past the 1,000-ad limit**: XING shows at most 1,000 ads per search. When you ask for more, the Actor splits the search automatically (employment type, career level, remote option) and removes duplicates.
- **Full description included** (text), plus the company's "about us" text when the ad has one.
- **Privacy**: recruiter and contact-person sections are never requested; e-mail addresses, phone numbers and named-contact lines are also removed from descriptions. Only company data is returned.
- **Resilient**: automatic retries and automatic fallback from datacenter to German residential proxy if requests are blocked.

### Pricing

Pay per event, no subscription: **US$0.60 per 1,000 jobs** (`job-result`), description included.

### FAQ

**Why are some ads missing?** XING shows roughly 30% of its search hits only to logged-in members. These ads are skipped (and never charged); the run summary reports how many were hidden.

**Is the salary real?** For most ads the salary is XING's own estimate (`salaryType: "estimate"`); when the employer states a range it is marked `stated`.

**Can I get recruiter contacts?** No. Contact persons, e-mails and phone numbers are deliberately not returned.

**Can I filter by minimum salary?** XING's public search ignores a salary filter for logged-out users, so it is not offered. Filter the output by `salaryMin` instead.

Job titles or skills to search for, one search per entry (for example: Pflegefachkraft, Data Analyst, Vertrieb). Leave empty to get the newest ads.

## `locations` (type: `array`):

Cities or regions (for example: Berlin, München, Zürich). Leave empty for all of the DACH region. Combined with every keyword.

## `radiusKm` (type: `integer`):

Radius around each location in kilometres. Leave empty for the XING default.

## `searchUrls` (type: `array`):

Optional xing.com/jobs/search URLs. The keywords, location, radius, employmentType, careerLevel, remoteOption, discipline and industry parameters are used.

## `employmentTypes` (type: `array`):

Restrict to these employment types.

## `careerLevels` (type: `array`):

Restrict to these career levels.

## `remoteOptions` (type: `array`):

## `sortBy` (type: `string`):
