## Pricing

Pay per event

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## 1688 Supplier & Price Monitor: alerts when your factory changes price, MOQ or stock

Keep an eye on the 1688.com suppliers you buy from, and on the keywords you source, **automatically**. Schedule this Actor daily (or hourly) and get a **Telegram message or webhook** when:

- 📉 a supplier **drops or raises the price** (you choose the % threshold),
- 📦 the **minimum order quantity** changes,
- ⛔ an offer goes **out of stock** or is **removed**,
- 🆕 a **new supplier appears that is cheaper** than the cheapest one you had seen for a keyword, or under your target price.

No 1688 account, no Chinese needed.

### How it works

1. Add the **1688 offers** you want to watch (URLs or offer IDs) and/or **keywords** (Chinese works best, e.g. `手机壳 透明`).
2. Give the watchlist a **name**: runs with the same name compare against each other.
3. Add your **Telegram bot token + chat ID**, or a **webhook URL** (Slack, Discord, Make, Zapier, n8n).
4. Create a **Schedule** in Apify (e.g. every day at 8:00).

The first run saves a baseline; from the second run on you only get alerts for real changes.

#### Input example

```json
{
  "watchlistName": "phone-cases",
  "offers": ["https://detail.1688.com/offer/796258252636.html", "1037610557035"],
  "keywords": [{ "keyword": "手机壳 透明", "maxPriceCny": 1.5 }],
  "alertOn": { "price_drop": true, "price_increase": true, "moq_change": true, "stock_out": true, "priceChangePct": 3 },
  "telegramBotToken": "123456:ABC...",
  "telegramChatId": "123456789"
}
```

#### Alert example (Telegram)

```
FactoryLens · phone-cases: 2 change(s)
• price_drop: 适用三星S25Ultra手机壳透明… 2.38 → 1.9 (-20.2%)
• new_supplier: 透明18pro手机壳适用苹果17… 1.17 → 0.85
```

Every run also writes a dataset with the current price tiers, MOQ, stock and sales of each offer, so you get a price history for free.

### Find the factory first

Don't know the 1688 supplier of a product yet? Use **[1688 Image & Link Search](https://apify.com/factorylens_data/1688-image-link-search)**: paste an Amazon or Shopify link or a photo and get AI-verified factory matches with wholesale prices and your margin.

Searching by keyword? **[1688 Product Search](https://apify.com/factorylens_data/1688-product-search)** returns English titles, prices and supplier trust scores.

### FAQ

**How often should I run it?** Daily is enough for most sourcing; hourly for flash-sale hunting.

**Does it need my 1688 login?** No. It reads publicly visible listings.

**What does it cost?** Pay per event: a small fee per offer checked, per keyword checked and per alert sent. See the Pricing tab.
