## Pricing

from $1.90 / 1,000 jobs

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Job Search API – Germany, Remote & Company Careers

Search jobs across **open, official job sources** in one run and get one clean, de-duplicated list:

- 🇩🇪 **Bundesagentur für Arbeit**, Germany's largest job board, with city and radius search
- 🇪🇺 **Arbeitnow**, jobs in Germany and Europe
- 🌍 **Remote OK** and **Himalayas**, remote jobs worldwide
- 🏢 **Company career pages** on **Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby and SmartRecruiters**: monitor specific companies

**$2.50 per 1,000 jobs.** No login, no cookies, no fragile scraping: every source is an official public API, so runs are fast and reliable.

### What you get

| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| `title`, `company`, `location`, `remote` | The basics |
| `employmentType`, `salaryMin`, `salaryMax`, `salaryCurrency`, `salaryPeriod` | Where the source provides them |
| `postedAt` | Publish date (ISO 8601) |
| `url`, `applyUrl` | Job page and application link |
| `source`, `sourceJobId`, `tags` | Origin of the posting |
| `description` | Optional plain-text description |

### Inputs

- **Keywords**: e.g. `python developer`, `Pflegefachkraft`, `marketing manager`
- **Location + radius**: for the Bundesagentur für Arbeit search (German cities or postcodes)
- **Remote only**, **posted within N days**
- **Job boards**: choose any of the four boards
- **Company career pages**: URLs like `https://jobs.lever.co/palantir`, `https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/ramp`, `https://boards.greenhouse.io/stripe` or short forms `greenhouse:stripe`

### How much does it cost?

$2.50 per 1,000 jobs. A typical search returning 200 jobs costs $0.50.

### FAQ

**Is this a jobs API?** Yes. It works as a no-setup alternative to the Arbeitsagentur Jobsuche API, Greenhouse API, Lever API and Ashby API, with one unified JSON format.

**Can I get jobs from a specific company?** Yes. Add the company's careers page URL or `greenhouse:slug`, `lever:slug`, `ashby:slug`, `smartrecruiters:slug`.

**Does it include job descriptions?** Yes, switch on `includeDescription`. It is off by default to keep results compact.

**Are LinkedIn or Indeed included?** No. Only open, official sources and company career pages are used, so the data is legal to use and stable.

**How fresh are the jobs?** Every run fetches live data. Filter with `postedWithinDays`.

### Use it with Claude, ChatGPT and other AI agents

1. Add the Apify MCP server to your assistant (e.g. in Claude: Settings → Connectors → add `https://mcp.apify.com`, then sign in with Apify).
2. Ask in plain language. The assistant finds this Actor, runs it and works with the results.

Or connect only this Actor: `https://mcp.apify.com?tools=fast_data_asap/job-search-api`

Example prompts:

- "Find remote Python developer jobs posted in the last 7 days and rank them by salary."
- "Suche Projektmanager-Stellen in München im Umkreis von 30 km."

You can also run it via the Apify API, on a schedule, or connect it to Make, Zapier, n8n and Google Sheets.

#### Free n8n workflow

[Hiring-signal alert for a list of companies](https://github.com/ichkifokkus/data-recipes/tree/main/4-hiring-signal-alert) – import-ready n8n workflow using this Actor. More in [Data Recipes](https://github.com/ichkifokkus/data-recipes).

#### Pay per call with x402 – no account needed

AI agents can run this Actor and pay per call with **x402** (USDC stablecoin payments over HTTP) through Apify's agentic payments – no Apify account or API key required. You pay the same pay-per-event prices listed above. Details: [Apify x402 integration](https://docs.apify.com/platform/integrations/x402).

### Notes

- Jobs from Remote OK and Himalayas link back to the original postings on those sites, as their API terms require.
- Job ads may contain contact details of recruiters. Use them only in line with data protection rules.

# Actor input Schema

## `keywords` (type: `string`):

Job title or skills, e.g. "python developer" or "Projektmanager". All words must appear in the job title or tags for sources without a search function.

## `location` (type: `string`):

City or postcode for the Bundesagentur für Arbeit search, e.g. Berlin or 80331. Leave empty for all of Germany.

## `radiusKm` (type: `integer`):

Search radius around the location (Bundesagentur für Arbeit).

## `filterByLocation` (type: `boolean`):

Keep only jobs whose location contains the location text (remote jobs are always kept).

## `remoteOnly` (type: `boolean`):

Only return remote jobs or jobs with home office.

## `postedWithinDays` (type: `integer`):

Only jobs published in the last N days. 0 = no limit.

## `sources` (type: `array`):

Open job sources to search.

## `companies` (type: `array`):

Optional. Monitor companies directly: careers URLs on Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby or SmartRecruiters (e.g. https://jobs.lever.co/palantir) or short forms like greenhouse:stripe, ashby:ramp.

## `maxJobsPerSource` (type: `integer`):

Upper limit per job board or company.

## `includeDescription` (type: `boolean`):

Adds the plain-text job description where the source provides one.

## `maxPagesUnfiltered` (type: `integer`):

Arbeitnow has no search function; this many pages (100 jobs each) are scanned and filtered by keywords.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Usually not needed: all sources are open APIs.
