## Pricing

from $0.25 / 1,000 tweetsrepliesresults

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

Actors are a software tools running on the Apify platform, for all kinds of web data extraction and automation use cases.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.
Actors are written with capital "A".

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.
The best way to integrate Actors is as follows.

In JavaScript/TypeScript projects, use official [JavaScript/TypeScript client](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js.md):

```bash
npm install apify-client
```

In Python projects, use official [Python client library](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python.md):

```bash
pip install apify-client
```

In shell scripts, use [Apify CLI](https://docs.apify.com/cli/docs.md):

````bash
# MacOS / Linux
curl -fsSL https://apify.com/install-cli.sh | bash
# Windows
irm https://apify.com/install-cli.ps1 | iex
```bash

In AI frameworks, you might use the [Apify MCP server](https://docs.apify.com/platform/integrations/mcp.md).

If your project is in a different language, use the [REST API](https://docs.apify.com/api/v2.md).

For usage examples, see the [API](#api) section below.

## 🧑‍💻 X / Twitter Profile Scraper: Extract All Tweets & Replies

Get all tweets and replies posted by a specific Twitter/X user — **complete, accurate, and fast**.

Instead of dealing with the heavily restricted and expensive official Twitter API, this tool works securely via your session cookie to retrieve a user's entire posting history.

---

### 🚀 Top Use Cases
- **🤖 AI Agents & LLM Training:** Feed an entire user profile's timeline (including their replying logic and tone) into your custom models or RAG pipelines.
- **🕵️ OSINT & Sentiment Research:** Perform deep-dive analysis on specific public figures, influencers, or competitors.
- **📊 Content Aggregation:** Backup your own account data or aggregate niche content perfectly formatted for automated workflows.

---

### ✨ Key Features
- **🧵 Full Activity Extraction:** Fetch both original tweets AND replies from any public Twitter/X user.
- **🛡️ Bypass API Limits:** No official developer credentials or expensive API keys required—authenticates seamlessly via a session cookie.
- **📊 Rich Metrics & Metadata:** Capture exact timestamps, view counts, likes, retweets, quotes, and language codes.
- **🖼️ Media URLs Included:** Automatically extracts high-resolution image, video, and GIF links within the tweets.
- **⚡ High-Speed Pagination:** Automatically handles Twitter's pagination logic to extract bulk historical data efficiently.

---

### 🛠 Input Parameters

| Field | Type | Description |
|-------|------|-------------|
| `screenName` | String | The Twitter/X handle of the target user (e.g., `elonmusk`). |
| `maxItems` | Integer | Maximum number of tweets/replies to return. |
| `cookie` | String | Your Twitter session cookie (Headers String) for authentication. |

---

### 📊 Output Example
The scraper returns granular, developer-friendly data. We preserve the rich nested structures (like detailed media entities and author metadata) so you don't lose any valuable context.

*(Note: Some nested fields like image focus rects are truncated here for brevity, but are fully available in the actual JSON/CSV export).*

### ❓ FAQ

**1. Do I need a Twitter API key or developer account?**
**No.** This actor works entirely bypassing the official API. It simply requires a session cookie from a regular logged-in Twitter account.

**2. How do I get the `cookie` for authentication?**

1. Install the [Cookie-Editor](https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/cookie-editor/hlkenndednhfkekhgcdicdfddnkalmdm) extension.
2. Log in to X / Twitter in your browser.
3. Open the extension on `x.com`.
4. Click **Export as Header String**.
5. Paste the result into the Actor's `cookie` input field.

**3. Can I scrape private accounts?**
No. You can only scrape public accounts, or private accounts that the logged-in cookie account already follows and has permission to view.

**4. Can I scrape multiple users in one run?**
Currently, the actor accepts one user per run. We highly recommend using workflow tools like Make.com or Apify's scheduling features to loop through multiple usernames.

**5. What’s the rate limit?**
While there is no strict API hard limit, Twitter monitors high-speed fetching. Performance depends on the trust level of the account cookie you provide.
