## Changelog

### \[0.9] - 2026-10-05

#### Fixed

- A run now saves at most "Max hotels per search" hotels per entry. Before, a small value (for example 1) could save and charge one hotel per parallel worker (up to about 20).
- Rows are counted (summary, free-plan usage) only when they were actually stored, and the run stops cleanly when your spend limit is reached.
- Every row now has the `searchQuery` field (the search entry that found the hotel), as the dataset view already listed.
- Values Google Hotels does not show are now `null` instead of `0` or an empty string (rating, review count, thumbnail, website, address, phone, price range).
- Your own proxy URLs in the proxy field are now used. When Apify Proxy is on and no group is chosen, residential proxies are used.
- Repeated search entries run only once.
- Input descriptions and README now describe the proxy and currency behaviour as it really is: no automatic proxy switch, and a search answered in another currency is skipped with a warning.
- Clearer logs: one line per saved hotel, plain reasons for skipped hotels, final summary and status message.

#### Changed

- Default check-in / check-out dates moved to 2027-06-01 / 2027-06-05 (the old defaults would soon be in the past).
- Default memory lowered from 4096 MB to 1024 MB (no browser is used).
- Free plan: up to 20 hotels per search entry and 200 per month (paid plans unlimited).

#### Earlier in 0.9

- New data pipeline: more pages of results per search, prices verified against your dates and currency, vacation rentals left out.
- Removed output fields that could not be filled reliably: `stars`, `amenities`, `aboutHotel`, `healthAndSafety`, `addressAndContact`. Removed the `sortOrder` input.
- Children and adults can each be set up to 16; stays are limited to 30 nights and check-in cannot be in the past.

### \[0.8] - 2026-09-07

- Longer time allowance for processing each batch of hotels, so finished results are no longer dropped.

### \[0.7] - 2026-09-07

- More memory by default for faster processing.

### \[0.6] - 2026-09-07

- A slow location lookup can no longer stall a run.

### \[0.5] - 2026-09-07

- Fixed runs that paused for minutes between batches of hotels.

### \[0.4] - 2026-09-02

- Longer time budget per search; the completion log reports the real number of saved hotels.

### \[0.3] - 2026-09-02

- Fixed addresses that sometimes contained page code instead of a street address.

### \[0.2] - 2026-08-30

- Fixed empty results caused by blocked requests not being retried correctly.

### \[0.1]

- Initial release.
