## Pricing

from $2.50 / 1,000 business checkeds

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Business YouTube Channel Finder: Subscribers & Activity

Find the **YouTube channel of any business** from its website, its name, or a whole Google Maps Scraper dataset, and get the numbers that qualify a lead: **subscribers, videos, total views, join date, latest upload and uploads in the last 90 days**. Businesses with no channel are listed too, which is exactly the list a video-marketing agency wants to pitch.

### Why this finder

- **Verified matches, not guesses.** The business website is read first for its own YouTube link. A channel found by search is kept only when its About links point back to the business website, so you do not get a stranger's channel with the same name.
- **Activity, not just size.** Latest video, its date, days since the last upload and uploads in the last 90 days tell an active channel from one abandoned in 2017.
- **Works on your lead list.** Paste websites, paste names with a city, or give the dataset ID of a Google Maps Scraper run and every place in it is checked.
- **Fast and light.** No browser, no login, no API key.

### What you get

One row per business:

| Field | Example |
|---|---|
| `businessName`, `website` | Benjamin Franklin Plumbing, https://www.benjaminfranklinplumbing.com |
| `hasYoutube` | `true` |
| `channelUrl`, `handle`, `channelId` | https://www.youtube.com/@benjaminfranklinplumbing5603 |
| `subscribers`, `videos`, `views` | 246, 22, 3831196 |
| `joinedDate`, `country` | 2019-10-29 |
| `latestVideoTitle`, `latestVideoUrl`, `latestVideoDate` | 2026-10-02 |
| `daysSinceLastUpload`, `uploadsLast90Days` | 36, 4 |
| `matchMethod`, `verifiedBacklink` | `website_link`, `true` |
| `socialLinks` | Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest from the channel's About page |

`matchMethod` says how the channel was found:

| Value | Meaning |
|---|---|
| `website_link` | The business website links to the channel |
| `website_video` | The website embeds a video and that video's channel links back to the website |
| `youtube_search_verified` | Found by YouTube search, and the channel links back to the website |
| `youtube_search_name` | Found by YouTube search with the exact business name, for a business with no website (`verifiedBacklink: false`) |
| `none` | No channel found (`hasYoutube: false`) |

`subscribers` is empty when the channel owner hides the count.

### How to use it

1. Add **Business websites** (one per line, a bare domain is fine), **Business names** (`Mike's Auto Repair, Denver`), or a **Google Maps Scraper dataset ID**.
2. Run it. Export the table to Excel or CSV, or filter it: `hasYoutube = false` for prospects without video, `daysSinceLastUpload > 365` for dormant channels.

### Output example

```
### Pricing
Pay per business checked: one result per business, whether or not it has a channel, since "no YouTube" is a result you can sell to. Businesses that cannot be checked at all (a dead website with no name to search) are not charged. The current rate is shown on this Actor's Store page, with a small discount on bigger Apify plans.
- **Free plan:** up to 20 businesses per run. A [paid Apify plan](https://apify.com/pricing?fpr=youssef) checks your whole list.
### FAQ
**Does it find emails?** No. It reads public channel data only, never behind a login.
**Which Google Maps dataset fields are used?** `title` (or `name`), `website` and `city`. Places without a website are matched by name and city.
**Can a business have more than one channel?** The best one is returned: the channel the website links to, or the one that links back to the website.
# Actor input Schema
## `websites` (type: `array`):
One per line. A bare domain such as rotorooter.com is fine. The website is read for its YouTube link first, the most reliable match.
## `businessNames` (type: `array`):
One per line, optionally with a city after a comma, e.g. 'Mike's Auto Repair, Denver'. These are matched by YouTube search only, so results are flagged when no website confirms them.
## `sourceDatasetId` (type: `string`):
Optional. The dataset ID of a Google Maps Scraper (or any) run whose items have a 'title' and 'website' field. Every place in it is checked.
## `searchYoutube` (type: `boolean`):
When the website links to no channel, search YouTube by the business name and keep a channel only when its About links point back to the website, or its name is an exact match.
## `includeUploads` (type: `boolean`):
Adds the latest video, its date, days since the last upload and uploads in the last 90 days, so you can tell an active channel from an abandoned one.
## `maxBusinesses` (type: `integer`):
Optional cap on how many businesses are checked in this run. Leave empty to check them all.
## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):
Not needed for normal use. Requests go out directly, and only a blocked request is retried through a proxy. Add your own proxy URLs here to use them for those retries.
## Actor input object example
```json
{
  "websites": [
    "rotorooter.com",
    "mrhandyman.com",
    "thisoldhouse.com"
  ],
  "searchYoutube": true,
  "includeUploads": true
}
```
# Actor output Schema
## `channels` (type: `string`):
For each business: whether it has a YouTube channel, the channel URL, subscribers, videos, views, latest upload and how the match was made.
