## Pricing

from $0.10 / 1,000 reviews

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## App Store & Google Play Reviews Scraper

Get **app reviews from the Apple App Store and Google Play in one run**, in the **same format**: star rating, title, text, date, app version, helpful votes and **developer replies**. Enter an app name and the Actor finds it in both stores, or paste store URLs and IDs.

- 🍎🤖 **Both stores, one dataset**: compare your iOS and Android reviews, or your app and a competitor's, without merging two exports
- 🔎 **Find apps by name**: "Spotify" is searched in both stores; URLs, package names (`com.spotify.music`) and App Store IDs (`324684580`) work too
- 🌍 **59 countries**: App Store reviews are separate for each country, Google Play reviews for each language
- ⭐ **Filters**: newest or most helpful first, star ratings (e.g. only 1 and 2 stars), date range
- 💬 **Developer replies** and **app version** for Google Play reviews, to see how support answers and which release caused complaints
- 🔔 **Monitoring mode**: schedule it daily and get only the new reviews, paying only for them
- 🧾 Pay per review returned, no subscription

### Use cases

- **Product and app teams**: spot bugs and feature requests right after a release, by app version
- **Customer support**: track unanswered negative reviews and your reply rate
- **Competitive research**: read what users love and hate in competing apps
- **Sentiment analysis and AI**: feed reviews into an LLM or a dashboard, from both stores in one format
- **App store optimization (ASO)**: find the words your users use to describe your app

### Output

One item per review:

```json
{
    "store": "googlePlay",
    "appId": "com.spotify.music",
    "appName": "Spotify: Music and Podcasts",
2. Choose the **country** (and the **language** for Google Play).
3. Pick the **sort order**, and optionally **star ratings** or a **date range**.
4. Run, then export as JSON, CSV or Excel, or schedule the Actor with **Only new reviews** turned on.
#### Input example
    "apps": ["Spotify", "https://apps.apple.com/us/app/youtube-music/id1017492454"],
### FAQ
**Why are App Store and Google Play reviews different by country?** The App Store keeps separate reviews for each country's store; Google Play groups reviews by language. Run the Actor once per country you need.
**How many reviews can I get?** Thousands per app and store: reviews are collected 100 at a time for as long as the store keeps returning them. Set **Max reviews per app** to what you need.
**Why is there no developer reply on App Store reviews?** Apple doesn't publish developer responses in the data the Actor reads; they are available for Google Play.
**Is it legal?** The Actor only collects reviews that the stores publish publicly. You are responsible for using the data in line with applicable laws, including data protection rules for reviewers' names.
