## Pricing

from $1.60 / 1,000 changes

This Actor is paid per event and usage. You are charged both the fixed price for specific events and for Apify platform usage.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## X (Twitter) Account Watch: Follows, Unfollows & Profile Changes

**Free demo:** runs and API requests return a fixed sample of real rows.
Your accounts, queries, dates, and filters are not applied. Repeating a run
returns the same sample; a smaller row limit returns its prefix. Upgrade
your Apify plan to request your own data. Demo rows have no result charge;
the listed Actor start charge still applies.

Recorded follows, unfollows, and profile changes for the X accounts we
cover, with before and after values where available. Collection gaps and
changes between observations can affect coverage.

We watch thousands of accounts around the clock, so the history already
exists when you ask. You don't keep snapshots or compare lists yourself.

**$2 per 1,000 changes.** Coverage checks have no result fee. Try the fixed Free demo.

### Why use it

- **History.** Follower scrapers show only today's list. We show what
  changed and when, going back months.
- **Each change as a dated row.** A founder following a new investor, a CEO
  changing their bio, an account switching handles.
- **Only what's new.** Schedule it and get only what changed since the last
  run.
- **Coverage check.** See which accounts have history, and since when,
  before requesting changes. There is no result fee for this check.

### Quick start

1. Add accounts and tick **Check coverage only** to see whether we have
   history for them, and since when.
2. Untick it and run again to get the changes.

```json
{ "users": ["@elonmusk", "@VitalikButerin"], "include": ["follows", "unfollows", "profile"], "since": "2026-10-01" }
```

**New-follow alerts:** tick **Only new since my last run**, schedule it every
hour or day, and connect it to Slack, email, or Google Sheets.

### What you get

| Row type | What's in it |
| --- | --- |
| `follow`, `unfollow` | The account they followed or unfollowed, with its name and bio |
| `profile_change` | Each changed field, before and after |

Every row has the account, its ID, and when we saw the change.

### Use it as an API

Call it like a REST API, with no runs to manage: `/changes` and `/coverage`
answer in JSON with the same rows and prices as a run. Try them in the
**Endpoints** tab, or copy the Actor's URL from there:

```bash
curl -H "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_APIFY_TOKEN" \
  "https://ACTOR_URL/changes?user=@elonmusk&since=2026-10-01"
```

### Pricing

Prices below are result fees. The **Pricing** tab also lists an Actor start
charge, including for empty runs, demo runs, and problem reports. Demo rows have
no result charge. Custom data requires a paid Apify plan. Its subscription
includes usage credit; it is not a separate Feedd subscription. API calls
require an Apify token.

$2 per 1,000 changes, only for rows you get: 5,000 changes cost $10. On
Apify's Business plan, $1.60 per 1,000. Coverage checks have no result fee on any plan.

Apify Free plan: fixed sample data only. Runs and API calls return the same
sample. Upgrade for custom data at the result rates above.

### FAQ

**How is this different from the Followers Scraper?** The
[Followers Scraper](https://apify.com/feeddlabs/x-twitter-followers-scraper)
lists who follows an account today. Account Watch shows what the account
itself does over time: who it starts following, who it drops, and how its
profile changes.

**Can I look up any account?** We cover thousands of accounts. Run the
coverage check to see if yours is one of them.

**How far back does it go?** It depends on the account. The coverage check
shows the first date we have.

**Can AI agents use it?** Yes. Add
`https://mcp.apify.com?tools=feeddlabs/x-account-changes` to Claude,
ChatGPT, or Cursor and ask, for example, "Who did @elonmusk start following
this week?"

**Something not right?** Write it in **Report a problem** and run the Actor.
The run only submits your report, with no result charge. The listed Actor
start charge still applies. AI agents can report problems too.

# Actor input Schema

## `users` (type: `array`):

Handles (with or without @) or numeric user IDs, up to 100. History exists for the accounts we watch; the run's OUTPUT says which ones have it.

## `checkOnly` (type: `boolean`):

Don't get changes; only see whether we have history for each account, and since when. Free on every plan.

## `include` (type: `array`):

Pick one or more: follows, unfollows, and profile changes. Default: all three.

## `onlyNew` (type: `boolean`):

Only changes since your last run with the same accounts. Schedule it hourly or daily for new-follow alerts.

## `since` (type: `string`):

Only changes detected on or after this day (UTC). Leave empty for all history.

## `until` (type: `string`):

Only changes detected on or before this day (UTC). Leave empty for up to now.

## `maxResults` (type: `integer`):

Stop after this many changes. You pay per change. Total across the whole run, not per query or account. On Free, this can only shorten the fixed sample.

## `reportProblem` (type: `string`):

Something wrong or missing? Write it here and run: we get your message, the run does nothing else, and it's free. AI agents can use this too.

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "users": [
    "@elonmusk",
    "@Fwiz"
  ],
  "checkOnly": false,
  "include": [
    "follows",
    "unfollows",
    "profile"
  ],
  "onlyNew": false,
  "maxResults": 50
}
```

# Actor output Schema

## `changes` (type: `string`):

Dataset rows ordered by detection time.

## `summary` (type: `string`):

The OUTPUT record: result counts and per-account status (covered, no_history, unknown, or protected) with history_since.
