## Pricing

from $0.12 / 1,000 accounts

This Actor is paid per event and usage. You are charged both the fixed price for specific events and for Apify platform usage.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

## X (Twitter) Followers Scraper: Followers, Following & Profiles

**Free demo:** runs and API requests return a fixed sample of real rows.
Your accounts, queries, dates, and filters are not applied. Repeating a run
returns the same sample; a smaller row limit returns its prefix. Upgrade
your Apify plan to request your own data. Demo rows have no result charge;
the listed Actor start charge still applies.

Export the followers, following, and profile of any public X account. Run it
again later to return followers not previously seen by this Actor.
Results reflect the lists X makes available at collection time.

**$0.15 per 1,000 accounts.** No fee per account you look up.
Try the fixed Free demo.

### Why use it

- **Only the new followers.** Tick **Only new since my last run** and repeat
  runs return accounts not seen in earlier results. This identifies newly
  observed accounts, not the exact time they followed. Result fees apply
  only to returned accounts.
- **Filters.** Filter by follower count, blue check, website, or words in the
  bio or location. You pay only for accounts that match.
- **Structured exports.** Download profile rows for your research or
  automation. Run time depends on the account and requested filters.
- **Same columns for every row.** Profiles, followers and following share
  the same columns, with 400 px profile pictures.

### Quick start

1. Add accounts: handles, @handles, IDs or x.com links.
2. Tick **Followers**, **Following**, or **Profile**.
3. Run it.

```json
{ "accounts": ["NASA", "SpaceX"], "followers": true, "maxPerAccount": 5000 }
```

**New followers every day:** tick **Only new since my last run**, schedule it
daily and connect it to Slack or Google Sheets.

```json
{ "accounts": ["yourbrand"], "followers": true, "onlyNew": true }
```

**Followers with 1,000+ followers and "founder" or "CEO" in the bio:**

```json
{ "accounts": ["ycombinator"], "followers": true, "minFollowers": 1000, "bioKeywords": ["founder", "CEO"] }
```

### What you get

| Column | What it is |
| --- | --- |
| `type`, `of` | `profile`, `follower`, or `following`, and whose list it's on |
| `username`, `name`, `url` | Handle, display name and profile link |
| `bio`, `location`, `website` | From the profile |
| `followers`, `following`, `posts` | Counts |
| `verified`, `blue_verified`, `protected` | Badges and privacy |
| `created_at`, `avatar`, `banner` | Join date, profile picture, and header |

Download as CSV, Excel, or JSON.

### Use it as an API

Call it like a REST API, with no runs to manage: `/followers`, `/following`,
and `/profiles` answer in JSON with the same rows and prices as a run. Try them
in the **Endpoints** tab, or copy the Actor's URL from there:

```bash
curl -H "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_APIFY_TOKEN" \
  "https://ACTOR_URL/followers?account=NASA&maxPerAccount=500"
```

### Pricing

Prices below are result fees. The **Pricing** tab also lists an Actor start
charge, including for empty runs, demo runs, and problem reports. Demo rows have
no result charge. Custom data requires a paid Apify plan. Its subscription
includes usage credit; it is not a separate Feedd subscription. API calls
require an Apify token.

$0.15 per 1,000 rows: 50,000 followers cost $7.50. On Apify's Business plan,
$0.12 per 1,000.

Apify Free plan: fixed sample data only. Runs and API calls return the same
sample. Upgrade for custom data at the result rates above.

### FAQ

**Do I need an X account or API key?** No.

**In what order do followers come?** Newest first, as X lists them.

**Want to know who an account starts following or unfollows over time?**
That's our [X (Twitter) Account Watch](https://apify.com/feeddlabs/x-account-changes).

**What about private accounts?** You get their profile, but their lists are
private.

**Can AI agents use it?** Yes. Add
`https://mcp.apify.com?tools=feeddlabs/x-twitter-followers-scraper` to Claude,
ChatGPT, or Cursor and ask, for example, "Which of @ycombinator's newest
followers have 'founder' in their bio?"

**Something not right?** Write it in **Report a problem** and run the Actor.
The run only submits your report, with no result charge. The listed Actor
start charge still applies. AI agents can report problems too.
