## Pricing

from $0.56 / 1,000 products

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Shopify & WooCommerce Products and Price Monitor

Get a store's full product catalog, with every variant, price, sale price and stock status, from the product feed the store itself publishes. Run it again and it tells you exactly what changed: new products, removed products, price changes, sale changes and stock changes.

### What you get

**One row per product:** title, brand, product type or categories, tags, link, main image, lowest and highest price, sale (compare-at) price, currency, in stock yes/no, and every variant with its SKU, price, sale price and availability. Optional plain-text description.

**One summary row per store:** platform, number of products and variants, currency, price range, how many products are on sale or out of stock, and, on repeat runs, how many products are new or removed and how many prices and stock levels changed.

**On repeat runs** each product also lists its changes, for example `price 49.00 → 39.00` for one variant.

No customer or order data, ever. Only what the store shows every visitor.

### Use it for

- **Competitor price monitoring**: see when a rival cuts prices or starts a sale.
- **Brand protection**: check that resellers keep to your minimum advertised price.
- **Restock alerts**: know when a sold-out product is back.
- **Market research**: compare catalogs, ranges and price points across stores.

### How to use it

1. Add store URLs, for example `https://www.example-store.com`.
2. Optional: limit products per store, add descriptions.
3. Turn on **Only changes** for scheduled runs, so you get only what moved.

Leave the input empty and it reads one example store.

### Output example

Real output (shortened):

```json
{
  "itemType": "product",
  "platform": "shopify",
  "title": "Arena Zip Boot SDK",
  "priceMin": 200,
  "currency": "CAD",
  "available": true,
  "variants": [
    { "title": "Black / 7", "price": 200, "compareAtPrice": null, "available": true },
    { "title": "Black / 8", "price": 200, "compareAtPrice": null, "available": true }
  ],
  "url": "https://graphql.myshopify.com/products/arena-zip-boot-sdk",
  "changeType": "unchanged"
}
```

### Pricing

You pay for results, not failures. A store whose feed cannot be read costs nothing.

| What | Price |
|---|---|
| Product | $0.0008 each ($0.80 per 1,000) |
| Change found (price, sale, stock, new or removed product) | $0.002 each |
| Store summary | $0.003 per store |
| Run start | $0.00005 per run (5 cents per 1,000 runs) |

Example: a 2,000-product store costs about $1.60 for a full read. A daily run with Only changes costs only for the products that changed.

Free Apify plan: 2 stores and 500 products per store per run.

### Good to know

- **Which stores work**: stores on Shopify or WooCommerce whose public product feed is open, which is the default on both. Stores that block automated visitors are reported as not available, never worked around.
- **Polite by design**: at least one second between requests to the same store, and each store's robots.txt is respected.
- **Public data only**: it reads only each store's public product pages and product feed. It does not use Shopify's developer APIs, never logs in, and never sees orders or customer data.
- **Change history** is stored in your own Apify account; the first run sets the baseline.
- **Stock numbers**: in stock or not is always included; exact quantities only when the store publishes them.

# Actor input Schema

## `stores` (type: `array`):

Shopify or WooCommerce store URLs, e.g. https://shop.example.com. The platform is detected from the store's own public product feed. WordPress stores installed in a sub-folder can be given with that folder. If empty, the run returns one example store (https://graphql.myshopify.com).

## `maxProductsPerStore` (type: `integer`):

Stop reading a store's catalog after this many products (1–50,000). Removed products are only reported when the whole catalog was read.

## `onlyChanges` (type: `boolean`):

Return only new and changed products plus removed-product markers (and the store summary). The first run for a store saves a baseline and returns no product items.

## `includeDescription` (type: `boolean`):

Add each product's description as plain text (up to 5,000 characters).

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "stores": [
    "https://graphql.myshopify.com"
  ],
  "maxProductsPerStore": 5000,
  "onlyChanges": false,
  "includeDescription": false
}
```

# Actor output Schema

## `results` (type: `string`):

One row per product plus one summary row per store; changes on repeat runs.
