## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

### What does Job Postings Aggregator do?

**Job Postings Aggregator** searches **job postings from LinkedIn, Indeed, Monster, CareerBuilder and company career sites in one run**, through **Google Jobs**, which already collects them in one place. For each job you get **title, company, location, posting age, salary range as numbers, employment type, highlights (qualifications, benefits, responsibilities), the full description and every link to apply** (LinkedIn, Indeed and the others where the same job is listed). **No login and no API keys.**

Schedule it with **Only new jobs** to receive every morning only the postings that appeared since the last run.

It runs on the Apify platform, so you also get an API, **scheduling**, integrations (Google Sheets, Make, Zapier, n8n, Slack) and access for **AI agents through the [Apify MCP server](https://mcp.apify.com)**.

> **Independent tool**, not affiliated with or endorsed by Google, LinkedIn, Indeed or any job board. It reads public job postings shown on Google Jobs and does not log in to any site.

### Why use it?

- 🔎 **Job search across boards**: one search instead of checking LinkedIn, Indeed and company sites one by one.
- 🔔 **Job alerts**: only new postings, daily, to email, Slack or Google Sheets.
- 💰 **Salary research**: salary ranges as numbers (minimum, maximum, period, currency) for a role and city.
- 🏢 **Lead generation and market research**: which companies are hiring for a skill, and where.

### How to search jobs from LinkedIn, Indeed and other sites at once

1. Click **Try for free**.
2. Enter one or more **job titles or skills**, for example `data analyst`, and a **location** (`Chicago`, `Remote`...).
3. Optionally set **Max jobs per search**, maximum age, employment type or remote only.
4. Click **Start** and download the jobs as JSON, CSV or Excel.

### Input

```json
{
  "queries": ["data analyst"],
  "location": "Chicago",
  "maxJobsPerQuery": 20,
  "maxDaysOld": 7,
  "onlyNewJobs": true
}
```

### Output

Real result from a run on 2026-10-13 (long texts shortened). The same job was listed on Indeed and LinkedIn; both apply links are returned:

```json
{
  "title": "Data Analyst - Business Intelligence",
  "company": "DRW",
  "location": "Chicago, IL",
  "via": "Indeed",
  "postedAt": "5 days ago",
  "salary": "$100K–$130K a year",
  "salaryMin": 100000,
  "salaryMax": 130000,
  "salaryPeriod": "year",
  "salaryCurrency": "$",
  "employmentType": "Full-time",
  "applyOptions": [
    {"source": "Indeed", "url": "https://www.indeed.com/viewjob?jk=7ab62c2d61842334&..."},
    {"source": "LinkedIn", "url": "https://www.linkedin.com/jobs/view/data-analyst-business-intelligence-at-drw-4476905417?..."}
  ],
  "highlights": {
    "Qualifications": ["5+ years in a data analysis, business intelligence, financial reporting, or analytics engineering role", "..."],
    "Benefits": ["The annual base salary range for this position is $100,000 to $130,000 depending on the candidate's experience...", "..."]
  },
  "description": "DRW is a diversified trading firm with over 3 decades of experience bringing sophisticated technology and exceptional people together..."
}
```

In that run (data analyst, Chicago) Google found the jobs via LinkedIn, Indeed, Monster, CareerBuilder, Built In Chicago, Randstad USA and company career sites; the `via` field and `applyOptions` say where each one is listed.

### How much does it cost?

Pay per job returned (see the Pricing tab): **$0.003 per job**, plus a run start of $0.001 per GB of memory ($0.004 with the default 4 GB). Searches that fail, jobs filtered out by age or type, and (with **Only new jobs**) jobs already delivered are not charged. Google's search proxy is included in the price.

### How many jobs per search?

Google shows 10 jobs per search and loads more only inside its own page. Above 10, the Actor adds related searches (full time, contract, senior, entry level, remote...) and removes duplicates, which gives about 30-50 different jobs for a broad search. For more, add more specific searches (other titles, cities or skills).

### Use it with AI agents (MCP)

Add `https://mcp.apify.com?tools=fguiraud/job-postings-aggregator` to Claude, Cursor or any MCP client and ask *"Find data analyst jobs in Chicago posted this week with a salary above $90K."* Common field names (`query`, `keywords`, `jobTitle`, `position`...) are accepted.

### FAQ and limitations

- **Is this a LinkedIn scraper?** No. It reads Google Jobs, which lists postings from LinkedIn, Indeed, other boards and company sites. You get the fields Google shows (and the links to the original postings), not LinkedIn-only data such as applicant counts or recruiter profiles.
- **Is the salary always present?** Only when the employer or job board publishes it (often in the US, less in other countries).
- **Other countries**: set `country` (for example `gb`, `mx`, `in`) and write the search in the local language.
- **Is it legal?** The Actor reads public job postings shown on Google. It does not log in to any job board and collects no personal data.
- Found a problem or need a feature? Open an issue on the **Issues** tab.
- **Did it save you time?** A short review on the **Reviews** tab helps other people find this Actor.

# Actor input Schema

## `queries` (type: `array`):

What to search, one per line: a job title, skill or company ('python developer', 'registered nurse', 'data analyst at Google'). Add the place here or in 'Location'.

## `location` (type: `string`):

City, region or country added to every search, e.g. 'New York', 'London', 'Mexico City'. Empty = Google uses the country below.

## `maxJobsPerQuery` (type: `integer`):

Google shows 10 jobs per search. Above 10, related searches (contract type, seniority, remote) are added and duplicates removed, up to about 50 jobs per search.

## `maxDaysOld` (type: `integer`):

Only jobs posted in the last N days (1 = today, 7 = last week). Jobs without a date are kept. Filtered jobs are not charged.

## `employmentTypes` (type: `array`):

Only these types. Empty = all. Filtered jobs are not charged.

## `remoteOnly` (type: `boolean`):

Add 'remote' to every search so Google returns work-from-home jobs.

## `onlyNewJobs` (type: `boolean`):

For scheduled runs: remember the jobs already returned for each search (in a key-value store named 'google-jobs-monitor' in your account) and return only new ones. Ideal for daily job alerts.

## `includeDescription` (type: `boolean`):

Turn off for smaller results (title, company, salary, highlights and apply links are always included).

## `country` (type: `string`):

2-letter country code of the Google edition: us, gb, ca, in, mx, es, de... Jobs come mostly from this country unless 'Location' says otherwise.

## `maxConcurrency` (type: `integer`):

How many searches run at the same time.

## `failOnError` (type: `boolean`):

Mark the run as failed when an item fails or nothing is found. Useful for scheduled monitoring (Apify emails you on failed runs).

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Google Jobs results are only rendered for Apify's Google SERP proxy, used by default (it is billed by Apify per page, included in the job price).
