## Pricing

from $0.14 / 1,000 reviews

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## App Store & Google Play Review Monitor

Get app reviews from the **Apple App Store and Google Play in one run, in one clean format**. Paste app links, pick countries, and switch on **"Only new reviews"** to get just the reviews posted since your last run. Schedule it daily and you have a review alert system that only charges for new reviews.

### What you can use it for

- **Track your own app**: catch 1-star reviews and bug reports the day they're posted.
- **Watch competitors**: see what users love and hate about rival apps, by version and country.
- **Feed AI and analytics**: sentiment analysis, feature-request mining, release QA dashboards.
- **Agency reporting**: one dataset for every client app across both stores.

### Why this one

- **Both stores, one schema.** No second actor or reformatting needed.
- **Incremental monitoring.** The actor remembers the newest review it has seen per app and country, so scheduled runs return only new reviews.
- **Filters**: star rating (e.g. complaints only: 1-2 stars), date, and countries.
- **Privacy by default**: reviewer names are left out unless you switch them on.
- **Lightweight**: no browser, so runs finish in seconds.

### Input

| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| `apps` | App Store / Google Play links, Apple IDs (`389801252`) or package names (`com.spotify.music`) |
| `countries` | Two-letter codes, default `["us"]` |
| `language` | Google Play review language, default `en` |
| `maxReviewsPerApp` | Newest first, per app and country (default 100) |
| `onlyNewReviews` | Return only reviews newer than the last run |
| `sinceDate` | Only reviews after this date |
| `minRating` / `maxRating` | Star-rating filter |
| `includeReviewerNames` | Off by default |

```json
{
  "apps": [
    "https://apps.apple.com/us/app/instagram/id389801252",
    "https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.instagram.android"
  ],
  "countries": ["us", "gb"],
  "maxReviewsPerApp": 200,
  "onlyNewReviews": true,
  "maxRating": 2
}
```

### Output

```json
{
  "store": "appStore",
  "appId": "389801252",
  "appName": "Instagram",
  "country": "us",
  "language": null,
  "reviewId": "14713744034",
  "rating": 1,
  "title": "Bugs",
  "text": "So many bugs...",
  "appVersion": "453.0",
  "date": "2026-10-26T13:55:52+00:00",
  "thumbsUp": 0,
  "developerReply": null,
  "developerReplyDate": null,
  "reviewUrl": "https://apps.apple.com/us/app/id389801252?see-all=reviews",
  "scrapedAt": "2026-10-28T01:09:06+00:00"
}
```

Google Play reviews also include `developerReply` and `developerReplyDate` when the developer answered. A per-app summary (status, review count, errors) is saved to the run's key-value store as `SUMMARY`.

### Pricing

Pay only for what you get: a small fee per app and country checked, plus a fee per review returned. With "Only new reviews" on, a daily check of an app that got no new reviews costs just the per-app fee.

### Limits and notes

- Apple's public feed exposes roughly the **500 most recent reviews per app and country**. For older App Store history, run it on a schedule from now on.
- Google Play has no such cap; use `maxReviewsPerApp` to control volume.
- App Store reviews differ by country. Google Play reviews mostly vary by language.
- The actor collects publicly visible reviews only, with no logins. You are responsible for using the data in line with applicable laws and the stores' terms.

### Integrations

Works with Apify schedules, webhooks, the API, Make, Zapier, Google Sheets, Slack, and AI agents (via Apify's MCP server).

# Actor input Schema

## `apps` (type: `array`):

App Store or Google Play links, Apple app IDs (e.g. 389801252) or Google Play package names (e.g. com.instagram.android). Mix both stores freely.

## `countries` (type: `array`):

Two-letter country codes. Each app is checked once per country. App Store reviews differ by country; Google Play mostly varies by language.

## `language` (type: `string`):

Two-letter language code for Google Play reviews.

## `maxReviewsPerApp` (type: `integer`):

Newest reviews first. The App Store feed returns at most about 500 recent reviews per app and country.

## `onlyNewReviews` (type: `boolean`):

Remembers the newest review seen for each app and returns only newer ones next time. Ideal for scheduled monitoring: you pay only for new reviews.

## `sinceDate` (type: `string`):

Optional. ISO date such as 2026-10-01.

## `minRating` (type: `integer`):

Optional. Set to 1 and maximum to 2 to collect only complaints.

## `maxRating` (type: `integer`):

Optional.

## `includeReviewerNames` (type: `boolean`):

Off by default. Reviewer display names are personal data in some jurisdictions; only turn this on if you have a lawful reason to process them.
