## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Australia Government Contracts - AusTender Scraper

Get Australian Government contracts from the official **AusTender OCDS API** (Department of Finance, CC BY): filter by keyword, agency, supplier, UNSPSC code and value, and get agency, awarded supplier, value, dates and a link to the official record. No API key, no proxies. *Versión en español más abajo.*

***

### Use cases

- Sales and bid teams: see which agencies buy what you sell, and how much they spend
- Competitor intelligence: every contract won by a given supplier (`proveedor`)
- Market sizing: contract value by UNSPSC category, agency or supplier state
- Renewal alerts: contract end dates (`fechaFin`) tell you when a contract will be re-tendered

### English

#### What does it do?

The Actor reads the AusTender contract notices published in the last N days, flattens the OCDS data and returns one clean record per contract: contract id, agency reference, description, agency and ABN, awarded supplier with ABN and location, UNSPSC codes, value and currency, signing/start/end dates, procurement method and the link to the official OCDS record. Only organisation data is returned: contact persons, emails and phone numbers are dropped on purpose.

#### Input

- `palabrasClave`: all words must appear in the contract description or reference.
- `agencia`, `proveedor`: part of the agency or supplier name.
- `unspsc`: UNSPSC prefixes such as `43` (IT) or `81` (IT services).
- `diasAtras` (1 to 90), `valorMinimo` (AUD), `maxItems`.

The default input already works: press **Start** and you get software contracts of the last 7 days in seconds.

Example:

```json
{"palabrasClave":"software","diasAtras":7,"valorMinimo":50000,"maxItems":10}
```

#### Output (real example)

```json
{
  "idContrato": "CN4287025",
  "referenciaAgencia": "C01501",
  "descripcion": "ICT Software",
  "agencia": "Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet",
  "urlContrato": "https://api.tenders.gov.au/ocds/findById/CN4287025"
}
```

Another real row:

}
```
#### Pricing (pay per event)
| Event | Price | Per 1,000 |
|---|---|---|
| Contract notice returned (`contract-notice`) | $0.003 | $3.00 |
You only pay for contracts returned. Set a maximum spend per run and the Actor stops when the limit is reached, keeping what it saved. The Apify FREE plan includes monthly credit to try it.
#### Integrations (Make, Zapier, Google Sheets)
- **Make**: add the Apify module "Run an Actor" (Actor `Flets_sv/austender-australia-contracts`), paste the input JSON, chain "Get Dataset Items" and map the fields to Google Sheets, Slack, Airtable or your CRM.
- **Zapier**: the Apify app offers "Run Actor" and "Fetch Dataset Items". Add a Schedule trigger and send each row to Gmail, Slack or Notion.
- **Google Sheets**: enable the official Google Sheets integration in the Actor's Integrations tab, or call `https://api.apify.com/v2/acts/Flets_sv~austender-australia-contracts/run-sync-get-dataset-items?format=csv` with POST and your input from Apps Script (`UrlFetchApp`).
- **API and webhooks**: start the Actor from the REST API, use Schedules for recurring runs and add a webhook to notify your system when a run finishes.
#### FAQ
**Does it need an API key?** No. AusTender publishes its OCDS API openly.
**Are these tenders or contracts?** Contracts already awarded (Commonwealth contract notices). For open calls in Europe or the UK use the related Actors below.
**Does it return personal data?** No contact persons, emails or phones. Supplier names are the registered names published by the Australian Government; some small suppliers trade under a personal name, so apply your own compliance rules when using them for marketing.
**Why do I get fewer results than `maxItems`?** Filters are applied after reading the published window (up to 80 pages); widen `diasAtras` or relax the filters.
### Español
#### ¿Qué hace?
El Actor lee los contratos publicados en AusTender (API OCDS oficial del Gobierno de Australia) en los últimos N días y devuelve una fila por contrato: agencia, proveedor adjudicatario con su ABN y ubicación, códigos UNSPSC, importe, fechas de firma/inicio/fin, método de contratación y enlace al registro oficial. No se devuelven datos de contacto.
#### Input
Por defecto busca contratos de «software» de los últimos 7 días y devuelve 10. Campos: `palabrasClave`, `agencia`, `proveedor`, `unspsc`, `diasAtras` (1 a 90), `valorMinimo` (AUD), `maxItems`.
#### Output
Un registro por contrato con los campos de los ejemplos reales de arriba.
#### Casos de uso
- Equipos comerciales: qué agencias compran lo que vendes y cuánto gastan.
- Inteligencia competitiva: todos los contratos de un proveedor.
- Avisos de renovación: `fechaFin` anticipa la próxima licitación.
#### Precios (pago por evento)
Contract notice returned (`contract-notice`): $0.003 ($3.00 por cada 1.000). Solo pagas por los contratos devueltos y puedes fijar un gasto máximo por ejecución.
#### Integraciones (Make, Zapier, Google Sheets)
- **Make**: módulo de Apify «Run an Actor» (Actor `Flets_sv/austender-australia-contracts`) y después «Get Dataset Items».
- **Zapier**: «Run Actor» con un disparador de horario.
- **Google Sheets**: integración oficial en la pestaña Integrations, o `UrlFetchApp` desde Apps Script.
- **API y webhooks**: lanza el Actor por API y avisa con un webhook al terminar.
Ejemplo de input para pegar en Make o Zapier:
```json
{"palabrasClave":"software","diasAtras":7,"valorMinimo":50000,"maxItems":10}
```
#### Preguntas frecuentes
**¿Necesito clave?** No, la API de AusTender es abierta.
**¿Son licitaciones abiertas?** No, son contratos ya adjudicados. Para licitaciones abiertas de la UE, Reino Unido, Francia o España usa los Actores relacionados.
**¿Datos personales?** Ningún contacto (personas, emails, teléfonos). Los nombres de proveedor son los registrados oficialmente; algún autónomo opera con su nombre, así que aplica tu propia política de cumplimiento si los usas para marketing.
