## Clinical Study Change Ledger

Create source-linked change ledgers for specified ClinicalTrials.gov study records, separating administrative changes from potentially material protocol, recruitment, enrollment, outcome, eligibility, location, results, and IPD changes.

### Non-goals

- No medical advice, treatment recommendation, eligibility recommendation, or patient-level decision.
- No prediction of trial success or interpretation of clinical significance.
- No non-official scraping, private patient data, or claim that a registry record is complete or independently verified.

### Source and input

The Actor uses only the official ClinicalTrials.gov API v2 structured study and version endpoints. Submit 1-500 NCT IDs, selected modules, optional persistent `baselineStoreId`, administrative-change preference, raw-record preference, and concurrency 1-10.

### Output and state

Each row reports the NCT ID, official status, baseline state, exact official JSON field paths, module deltas, source URL/hash/API version/timestamp, potentially-material labels without medical meaning, artifacts, and limitations. Persistent baselines are journaled and advance only after Apify confirms the paid event. Because the result row is emitted as part of charging, its `baseline.committed` value remains false at emission; the run summary's commit counts are the final authority. A missing record remains uncharged until two successful official-API observations at least six hours apart.

### Pricing

`study-check` costs **$0.02 per terminal study check**. Baseline creation, unchanged/changed reports, and confirmed terminal missing evidence are charged. Invalid IDs, transient/rate/schema failures, and first missing observations are uncharged. Maximum event cost is admitted checks multiplied by $0.02, plus platform usage.

### Resources and data handling

Minimum 256 MB, default 512 MB, maximum 1024 MB, timeout 300 seconds, maximum 5 MB per response, and maximum ten concurrent requests. Optional raw official records are stored in caller-owned KVS. Delete run storage and the chosen baseline KVS to remove retained data.
