## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Remote Jobs Spain & LATAM Scraper – $1.79/1K

Remote Jobs Spain & LATAM Scraper finds **remote job postings you can actually do from Spain or Latin America** (Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Peru, Brazil…) by reading the public job-board APIs of **Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby and Workable**. Every result carries a `remoteRegionMatch` field that explains *why* it was included.

### What does it do?

- Queries the public, no-login job board API of each company (built-in verified list of remote-hiring companies + your own list).
- Keeps only **remote** jobs (ATS remote flag/workplace type, or "remote" in location/title; hybrid and on-site are dropped).
- Keeps only jobs open to **Spain, LATAM, Europe, EMEA or worldwide/anywhere**, detected from country codes and location text ("Spain", "España", "LATAM", "Latin America", "Americas", "EMEA", "Europe", "Mexico", "Argentina", "Colombia", "Chile", "worldwide", "anywhere"…). "New Mexico" and US-only roles are excluded.
- Unified JSON/CSV output, newest first.

### Use cases

- Job seekers in Spain or LATAM looking for remote roles at international companies.
- Remote job boards and newsletters for Spanish-speaking audiences.
- Recruiters and analysts tracking which companies hire remotely in LATAM/EMEA.

```
### Built-in company list
16 companies verified on 2026-11-04 (each one's public board returned at least one remote job eligible from Spain/LATAM): GitLab, Canonical, Elastic, Datadog, Typeform, Cloudflare (Greenhouse); Toptal (Lever); Supabase, PostHog, Zapier, Linear, n8n, Resend (Ashby); Valatam, Remote Talent LATAM, Blueground (Workable).
### Accuracy
On 2026-11-04 the built-in list returned **306 remote jobs eligible from Spain/LATAM/EMEA/Europe/worldwide**. Matching is rule-based and transparent: read `remoteRegionMatch` to see the exact field and text that triggered each match. "Americas" is counted as LATAM.
### FAQ
**Do I need an account or API key?** No. Only public job board endpoints are used.
**Is it legal?** It reads job postings that companies publish publicly on their ATS career pages, with no login and no personal data. Respect each source's terms; do not use the data to train AI models (Workable content signal `ai-train=no`).
**Can I add my own companies?** Yes: put board tokens in the matching ATS field (e.g. `apply.workable.com/valatam` → `valatam`).
**How fast is it?** About 1–2 minutes for the full built-in list (polite delays per host).
**Can I schedule it?** Yes, use Apify Schedules to get new remote jobs daily.
**Why is a job missing?** It may be hybrid/on-site, US-only, or its location does not mention an eligible region.
**What if a board fails?** Errors (404, rate limits) are logged in `RUN_SUMMARY` and the run continues.
**How much does it cost?** $1.79 per 1,000 jobs + $0.00005 per run start.
