## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Remote Jobs Aggregator: Job Boards + 390 Company Career Sites

Get **remote jobs from the top remote job boards and straight from company career sites** in one run, with duplicates merged: title, company, where candidates can be located, salary, posting date, apply link and the full description. **$3 per 1,000 jobs.** No login, no API keys, no browser.

### Why this one

- **Job boards and employers in one feed.** Remote OK, We Work Remotely, Jobicy, Working Nomads and Arbeitnow, plus remote roles read directly from about 390 tech, AI, fintech and Fortune 500 employers on Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workday, Recruitee and Personio. Most remote job tools only cover the boards.
- **Duplicates merged.** The same job posted on several boards and on the company's own site comes back once. The employer's own posting wins, and **alsoListedOn** shows where else it appeared.
- **Where can candidates live?** Each job keeps its location rules (Anywhere in the World, USA only, Europe, and so on). Filter with **Open to candidates in** or **Worldwide jobs only**.
- **Salary data.** Pay ranges from the source when it has them, and ranges found in the job description when it does not.
- **New jobs only.** Monitoring mode remembers what it already gave you and returns only new jobs. Schedule it daily for remote job alerts.

### What you can use it for

- **Remote job boards and newsletters:** fill a niche remote board or a weekly jobs email.
- **Job seekers and career coaches:** one daily feed of new remote roles that match a title, a region and a pay range.
- **Recruiting and sales intelligence:** see which companies hire remotely, for what roles, and at what pay.
- **Market research and AI data:** remote hiring trends with clean, structured job data and full descriptions.

### What you get for each job

| Field | Example |
|---|---|
| title / company / companyLogo | Senior Backend Engineer / Acme |
| source / sourceType | We Work Remotely / Job board, or Greenhouse / Company career site |
| alsoListedOn | Remote OK, Jobicy |
| location / isWorldwide | Anywhere in the World / true |
| employmentType / seniority / department / categories | Full-Time / Senior / Programming |
| salaryMin / salaryMax / salaryCurrency / salaryInterval / salaryText | 150000 / 190000 / USD / year |
| postedAt | 2026-10-27T14:03:00.000Z |
| url / applyUrl | the posting and the apply link |
| description | full job description as plain text |
| isNew | true in monitoring mode for jobs not seen before |
| jobId, scrapedAt | |

### How to use it

1. Add **job title keywords**, comma-separated (for example `engineer, product manager`), or leave empty for every remote job.
2. Pick **sources**. All are on by default.
3. Optional filters: **Open to candidates in** (USA, Europe, UK, LATAM...), **Worldwide jobs only**, **Only jobs that show a salary**, **Posted within N days** and **Exclude title keywords**.
4. Turn on **Only new jobs since my last run** for alerts, and schedule the actor daily.
5. Set **Max jobs** (newest first), run, and download as JSON, CSV or Excel, or use the API.

Company career sites take a minute or two because each employer is checked live. Workday employers are searched when you add keywords. To search other companies instead of the built-in list, add them under **Career sites: your own company list**.

### Pricing

**$3 per 1,000 jobs** saved, pay per result. You are never charged for jobs removed by your filters, duplicates, or anything beyond your Max jobs.

### Is it legal?

This actor reads only public job feeds that their owners publish for reuse: the Remote OK API, the We Work Remotely RSS feeds, the Jobicy, Working Nomads and Arbeitnow APIs, and the public job board feeds of Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workday, Recruitee and Personio. It checks each site's robots.txt, does not log in, and collects no personal data. Each job keeps a link back to its source, as the boards ask. If you republish jobs, keep those links and credit the source. This actor is not affiliated with any of these sites.

### Integrations and API

Run it from the Apify API, schedule it, or connect it to Make, Zapier, n8n, Google Sheets, Slack, Airtable and AI agents through the Apify MCP server.

# Actor input Schema

## `keywords` (type: `string`):

Comma-separated. A job matches if its title contains any of them, e.g. engineer, product manager, recruiter. Leave empty for all remote jobs.

## `searchInDescription` (type: `boolean`):

Match keywords in the description too, not just the title. Slower for company career sites.

## `excludeKeywords` (type: `string`):

Comma-separated. Skip jobs whose title contains any of these, e.g. senior, intern, sales.

## `sources` (type: `array`):

Job boards and company career sites to search. Duplicates across sources are merged.

## `careerSiteCompanies` (type: `array`):

Optional. Search these companies' career sites instead of the built-in list of 390 employers. A name (Stripe), a careers page URL, or a Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workday, Recruitee or Personio board URL.

## `locations` (type: `string`):

Comma-separated. Keep jobs whose location mentions any of these, e.g. USA, United States, Europe, UK, Canada, LATAM. Worldwide jobs are always kept.

## `worldwideOnly` (type: `boolean`):

Only jobs open to candidates anywhere in the world.

## `onlyWithSalary` (type: `boolean`):

Skip jobs that do not show a pay range, either from the source or in the job description.

## `postedWithinDays` (type: `integer`):

Only jobs posted in the last N days. 0 means any date.

## `onlyNewJobs` (type: `boolean`):

Remembers the jobs it already gave you and returns only new ones. Schedule the actor daily for job alerts.

## `includeDescription` (type: `boolean`):

Add the full job description as plain text.

## `maxJobs` (type: `integer`):

Newest jobs first. You pay only for jobs saved.
