## Changelog

### 0.1 — 2026-10-01

First version.

- Products by ASIN or Amazon product link on amazon.com, amazon.co.uk, amazon.de and amazon.com.tr; a link's own marketplace is used. Keyword searches and Amazon search-result links (organic results in Amazon's order; sponsored results left out).
- Two detail levels:
  - `full` (default): one product page per product — price, list / reference price with Amazon's own label (List Price, RRP, UVP, Statt, Önceki Fiyat), savings %, unit price, availability, Buy Box seller and seller ID (from the page's merchant field), ships from, fulfilled by Amazon, offer count and lowest other offer, rating, ratings count, bought last month, Best Sellers Rank in every category, categories, bullet points, specification table, images, parent ASIN, variation ASINs and attributes, Amazon's Choice, best-seller badge, coupon, the delivery location the page was priced for.
  - `fast`: Amazon's search results for up to 48 ASINs per request — price, list / typical price, rating, ratings count, bought last month, image, other offers, Prime, badges, and the brand when the result shows a brand line. An ASIN the search does not return is read from its product page instead.
- `includeOffers`: the product's offer list (Buy Box offer + Amazon's first page of other offers, about 10): price, condition, seller, seller ID, ships from, seller rating, ratings count, positive %, delivery.
- Prices in the marketplace's own currency: sessions on amazon.co.uk and amazon.de set a London / Berlin postcode through Amazon's own location menu (or your `zipCode`, also on amazon.com); a page quoted in another currency or priced for a foreign location is read again (new session, then residential proxy) and is never delivered with a foreign price. `deliverTo` shows the location the page was priced for, including the location Amazon guesses from the IP when no postcode is set.
- `priceInCartOnly`: Amazon shows the price only in the cart (minimum advertised price); the price stays empty instead of a guess.
- Requests start on Apify datacenter proxy; a blocked or incomplete page is retried on up to three new datacenter sessions and then through Apify residential proxy in the marketplace's country. Amazon's "Continue shopping" page and its bot-check interstitial are answered without a browser. Reduced product pages Amazon sometimes serves after a bot check (no Best Sellers Rank, no product details) are read again on another session; if no complete page comes, the reduced one is delivered rather than nothing.
- Each (marketplace, ASIN) is delivered and charged once per run. Invalid input lines, products Amazon does not show and searches without results come back as rows with the reason in `error` and are not charged. A `SOURCE_REPORT` record per run counts, per marketplace, the requests, the pages delivered through datacenter and residential proxy and on which attempt.
- Pricing events: `product` (full page), `product-lite` (search-result data), `offers` (offer list returned).
- A progress line in the log every 30 seconds.

#### Fixed during private testing, before release

- Memory: finished responses are released right away and the JavaScript heap is sized to the run's memory; a search-heavy test run at 1 GB had stopped when it ran out of memory (now about 400 MB for 1,300 search results).
- amazon.com.tr: Best Sellers Rank ("En Çok Satanlar Sıralaması") was always empty.
- amazon.de fast mode: "bought in past month" ("1000+ Mal im letzten Monat gekauft") and other offers ("Andere Angebote") were empty.
- Fast mode: on fashion and toy results the brand heading was delivered as `title` (about 7% of rows in a 1,300-row test); `title` is now the product name and `brand` is filled from that heading.
- With the offer list on, `offersCount` could become 0 for a product with a single offer; it is again only the count the product page shows (the offer list's total is in `otherOffersCount`). An offer price printed without a currency sign gets the page's currency.
- Brand on brand-store fashion pages and from the specification table's Brand row.
- `deliverTo` was empty on amazon.com and amazon.com.tr when no postcode was set.
- A second kind of reduced product page after a bot check (reviews present, no rank, no details block) is now recognised and read again.
- The `zipCode` field description said amazon.com used New York 10001 when empty; empty means Amazon's location guess from the IP.
- A search result priced in another currency on an otherwise local results page is delivered without its prices (an ASIN-list lookup reads that product's page instead); before, only a page where most results were in another currency was read again.
- `priceInCartOnly` is set only after three reads of the page (was two): Amazon now and then shows "add to cart to see the price" for ordinary items.
- README: claims checked by an independent review against the test runs and corrected (offer list scope, fast-row images and labels, delivery location of residential sessions, SOURCE\_REPORT contents).
