## Changelog

### 0.1.2 — 2026-10-14 — own-domain newsletters no longer fail silently

- A newsletter that publishes on its own web address (Lenny's Newsletter, The Free Press) returns no posts on its `handle.substack.com` address — the subdomain redirects to substack.com or serves an empty list (measured 2026-10-14). A bare handle for such a newsletter used to deliver 0–1 posts with no explanation. It now returns one clear row: re-run with the newsletter's own web address (e.g. `https://www.lennysnewsletter.com`), which reads in full. Nothing is charged for that row.
- Why not resolve the address automatically: Substack does not expose a newsletter's custom domain from its handle (the publication API is blocked and the parked subdomain's feed is empty), so the address cannot be discovered reliably — it is asked for instead of guessed.

### 0.1.0 — 2026-10-12

- Initial release. Structured posts from any Substack newsletter via its public API (`{host}/api/v1/posts`), no API key.
- Per post: title, subtitle, URL, publish date, type (newsletter/podcast/thread), audience (free/paid) + `isPaid`, word count, reaction/comment/restack counts, tags, authors, cover image, description/teaser, language, and optional full body text (`includeBody`).
- Accepts handles, `.substack.com` URLs and custom domains; `postedAfter` filter; pay-per-event (`post`). Pure HTTP, no browser, no proxy. Publication subscriber counts are behind Substack's login and are not claimed.
