## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Company Jobs Scraper: Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workday & More (AI-Ready)

Type a company name, domain or careers-page link and get **every open job** from its job board, with the **full description as clean Markdown**, **salary range**, **seniority** and **remote / hybrid / on-site**, in one consistent format across seven job-board systems.

**$1 per 1,000 jobs.** Companies that cannot be found are free. No login, no API keys.

### What you can use it for

- **Job boards and aggregators.** Pull fresh jobs from hundreds of companies on a daily schedule; "Only new jobs" returns just what was posted since your last run.
- **Recruiting and sales signals.** See which companies are hiring for what (a company hiring 10 data engineers is buying data tools).
- **AI and RAG pipelines.** Descriptions arrive as Markdown with structured salary and seniority fields, ready for an LLM.
- **Salary research.** Salary from the job board's own field where it exists, or parsed from the description (`salarySource` tells you which).

### Supported job boards

| System | Enter | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Greenhouse | name, domain or board URL | `stripe`, `airbnb.com`, `boards.greenhouse.io/figma` |
| Lever | name or board URL | `jobs.lever.co/palantir` |
| Ashby | name, domain or board URL | `openai`, `notion.so`, `jobs.ashbyhq.com/ramp` |
| SmartRecruiters | name or board URL | `jobs.smartrecruiters.com/<company>` |
| Recruitee | name or board URL | `<company>.recruitee.com` |
| Workday | careers-page URL | `nvidia.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/NVIDIAExternalCareerSite` |
| Workable | careers-page URL | `apply.workable.com/huggingface` |

For a name or domain, the Actor checks the company's careers page and the public job boards and uses the first one that has jobs.

### Sample output

```json
{
  "company": "Ramp",
  "ats": "ashby",
  "title": "Senior Software Engineer, Backend",
  "seniority": "senior",
  "department": "Engineering",
  "location": "New York, NY",
  "workplace": "hybrid",
  "employmentType": "FullTime",
  "salaryMin": 205000,
  "salaryMax": 290000,
  "salaryCurrency": "USD",
  "salaryPeriod": "YEAR",
  "salarySource": "ats",
  "postedAt": "2026-09-30T18:02:11.000+00:00",
  "jobUrl": "https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/ramp/...",
  "description": "## About Ramp\n\nRamp is the financial operations platform...\n\n## What you'll do\n\n- Build..."
}
```

### How to use it

1. Add **Companies**: names, domains or careers-page links, one per line.
2. Optional filters: **title contains**, **location contains**, **workplace**, **posted within**.
3. Turn on **Only new jobs since my last run** and schedule the Actor daily to get a feed of new openings.
4. Run. Results appear in the **Jobs** table and as JSON, CSV or Excel.

### Pricing

**$0.001 per job ($1 per 1,000).** Error rows (company not found) are free. Example: 50 companies x 40 jobs = 2,000 jobs = $2.

### Notes

- Data comes from each company's public job board, the same source as its careers page.
- Seniority is inferred from the title; workplace comes from the job board where given, otherwise from the location or description.
- Salary appears only when the company publishes it (many US postings do; most others do not).
- Problems or a job board we should add: open an issue on the Issues tab. Fixes ship within 24 hours.

# Actor input Schema

## `companies` (type: `array`):

Company names (e.g. 'stripe'), domains (e.g. 'notion.so') or careers-page URLs (any Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workday, SmartRecruiters, Recruitee or Workable link). Workday and Workable need the careers-page URL.

## `titleKeywords` (type: `array`):

Keep only jobs whose title contains any of these words, e.g. 'engineer', 'sales', 'designer'.

## `locations` (type: `array`):

Keep only jobs whose location contains any of these, e.g. 'London', 'United States', 'Remote'.

## `workplace` (type: `string`):

Remote, hybrid or on-site jobs only (jobs whose workplace is unknown are dropped by these filters).

## `postedWithinDays` (type: `integer`):

Keep only jobs posted in the last N days (where the job board gives a date). 0 = no limit.

## `onlyNewJobs` (type: `boolean`):

Remembers which jobs earlier runs saw (stored in your own Apify account) and returns only jobs that are new. Ideal for daily schedules.

## `maxJobsPerCompany` (type: `integer`):

Stop after this many jobs per company.

## `includeDescriptions` (type: `boolean`):

Full description as clean Markdown, ready for AI. Turn off for a lighter dataset.

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "companies": [
    "stripe",
    "https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/ramp",
    "https://jobs.lever.co/palantir"
  ],
  "workplace": "any",
  "postedWithinDays": 0,
  "onlyNewJobs": false,
  "maxJobsPerCompany": 500,
  "includeDescriptions": true
}
```

# Actor output Schema

## `results` (type: `string`):

One item per open job: company, title, seniority, location, workplace, salary, posted date, job link.

## `allFields` (type: `string`):

Every field, including the job description when that option is on.
