## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## French Career Feed — jobs in France from company career pages

**French Career Feed** returns jobs in France from the public career pages of 50 companies (French scale-ups and international tech companies hiring in France), as one clean, deduplicated feed. Every job has the same fields: **contract type, yearly salary in euros, remote mode, city, department and region**, plus a link back to the employer's own posting. Run it once, or schedule it in **monitor mode** to receive only the jobs you have not seen yet, with an optional Slack alert.

Built for job seekers who want a daily alert, recruiters and HR teams watching the market, and anyone who needs hiring data on French employers.

### Price

Pay per event:

| Event | Price |
|---|---|
| Job returned | **$2.00 per 1,000 jobs** ($0.002 each) |
| Slack alert sent (optional) | $0.01 per alert |
| Actor start | $0.00005 per run (the platform's standard start fee) |

You only pay for jobs that land in your dataset. Jobs removed by your filters, duplicates and jobs already seen in monitor mode are free. Set a maximum cost per run and the Actor stops there.

### What you get

One flat item per job:

| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| `id` | Stable id; the same job found twice has one id |
| `title`, `company` | Job title and company name |
| `contractType` | `cdi`, `cdd`, `interim`, `alternance`, `stage`, `freelance`, or `other` when the employer does not say |
| `salaryMinYearly`, `salaryMaxYearly`, `salaryRaw` | Gross yearly salary in EUR, `null` when not published |
| `remote` | `full`, `partial`, `none` or `unknown` |
| `city`, `postalCode`, `departmentCode`, `region` | Location in France |
| `category` | Department or function as published, when available |
| `description` | Plain-text description (optional) |
| `publishedAt` | Publication time (ISO 8601, UTC) |
| `sources`, `urls`, `applyUrl` | Where the job was found, and links to the original posting |
| `isNew`, `firstSeenAt`, `scrapedAt` | Monitor-mode flags |

Example:

```json
{
  "id": "489e74606e754e34",
  "title": "Senior Product Manager - Public APIs",
  "company": "Qonto",
  "contractType": "other",
  "salaryMinYearly": null,
  "salaryMaxYearly": null,
  "remote": "unknown",
  "city": "Paris",
  "postalCode": "75010",
  "departmentCode": "75",
  "region": "Île-de-France",
  "publishedAt": "2026-10-09T16:36:04Z",
  "sources": ["ats:ashby"],
  "urls": ["https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/qonto/59f86c3d-c13b-4d27-b1ee-6f607843fe47"],
  "isNew": true,
  "firstSeenAt": "2026-10-09T18:45:19Z",
  "scrapedAt": "2026-10-09T18:45:19Z"
}
```

### Use cases

- **Job alerts:** schedule a daily run with your keywords, location and remote preference, and get the new jobs in Slack.
- **Hiring watch:** see which companies are hiring for which roles, in which region.
- **Your own list of employers:** add any company whose career page runs on Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby or SmartRecruiters with the `companies` input.

### Input examples

DevOps jobs in Île-de-France published in the last 14 days:

```json
{
  "keywords": "devops",
  "locations": ["Île-de-France"],
  "publishedWithinDays": 14,
  "maxItems": 100
}
```

Daily monitor with a Slack alert, plus one extra company:

```json
{
  "keywords": "data engineer",
  "onlyNew": true,
  "stateKey": "data-eng",
  "slackWebhookUrl": "https://hooks.slack.com/services/...",
  "companies": [{"name": "Acme", "ats": "lever", "slug": "acme"}]
}
```

`keywords` are space-separated words that must all appear in the title, category or description; accents are ignored. Turn on `keywordsInTitleOnly` for precise results. `locations` accepts a city, a department number (`69`) or a region (`Bretagne`).

### Monitor mode, scheduling and Slack

1. Set `onlyNew` to `true`.
2. Save the configuration as a **task** with its own `stateKey`, so each task remembers the jobs it already returned.
3. Add a **schedule** (for example every morning).
4. Optionally add a Slack incoming webhook: you get one compact message (up to 20 lines) per run that finds new jobs.

The Actor remembers up to 50,000 job ids per `stateKey`.

### Companies covered

Accor, Agicap, Airbnb, Aircall, Alan, Algolia, Ankorstore, Back Market, Believe, BlaBlaCar, Brevo, Canva, Contentsquare, Databricks, Datadog, Dataiku, Devoteam, Doctolib, Doctrine, Dust, Ekimetrics, Figma, Gameloft, GitLab, Gorgias, Grafana Labs, H Company, Heetch, JobTeaser, Ledger, Malt, Mirakl, MongoDB, N26, Notion, Okta, Owkin, Pelico, Pennylane, Photoroom, Pigment, Qonto, Scaleway, Snowflake, Sorare, Stripe, Swile, Veepee, Vestiaire Collective, Voodoo.

Missing one? Add it with the `companies` input, or ask for it to be added to the built-in list.

### FAQ

**Is the data public?** Yes. The Actor only reads the public job boards that companies publish on Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby and SmartRecruiters, without logging in, and links every job back to the employer's own posting. It never collects recruiter names, emails or phone numbers, and removes emails and phone numbers from descriptions.

**How is it billed?** Pay per event, see the price table. A run can never go over the maximum cost you set.

**Why is the contract type often `other`?** Most career pages do not state whether a job is a CDI or a CDD. The Actor never guesses: when the page does not say, you get `other`. The same goes for salary: no published salary means `null`.

**Why a few jobs from a company that is not French?** International companies with offices in France are included; only jobs located in France are returned.

**Why is it slow with a lot of jobs?** Descriptions of SmartRecruiters jobs need one extra request each, and requests are throttled to stay polite. A run of 100 jobs takes seconds; dumping everything (about 1,500 jobs) takes about a minute and a half. Turn off `includeDescriptions` to cut that to about 20 seconds. For SmartRecruiters companies, `keywords` match the job title and category only, not the description.

**What if a career page changes?** A company board that fails is skipped and logged. If every board fails, the run stops with a clear error instead of returning an empty dataset silently.

This Actor is an independent tool and is not affiliated with the companies it lists. Respect each employer's terms when you use the data.

# Actor input Schema

## `keywords` (type: `string`):

Words that must all appear in the job title, skills or description, for example devops kubernetes. Accents are ignored. Empty means all jobs.

## `keywordsInTitleOnly` (type: `boolean`):

Match the keywords against the job title only, for precise results (for example engineer without recruiters who mention engineers).

## `locations` (type: `array`):

City, department number or region names, for example Paris, 69 or Bretagne. Empty means all of France.

## `contractTypes` (type: `array`):

Keep only these contract types. Many company career pages do not state the contract: those jobs have the type 'other' (Not stated). Empty means all.

## `remote` (type: `string`):

Filter on remote work: any, full remote, partial (hybrid) or none (on site).

## `minSalaryYearly` (type: `integer`):

Keep only jobs whose published gross yearly salary is at least this many euros. Jobs without a published salary are dropped when set.

## `publishedWithinDays` (type: `integer`):

Only jobs published in the last N days. Jobs without a publication date are kept.

## `sources` (type: `array`):

Which sources to read. Empty means all available sources.

## `companies` (type: `array`):

Add employers whose career page runs on Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby or SmartRecruiters: a list of objects with name, ats and slug, for example {"name": "Acme", "ats": "lever", "slug": "acme"}. The slug is the last part of their jobs page URL.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Hard cap on the number of jobs returned (and billed).

## `includeDescriptions` (type: `boolean`):

Add the job description as plain text (emails and phone numbers removed). Turn off for much faster large runs.

## `onlyNew` (type: `boolean`):

Return only jobs not seen in previous runs with the same state key.

## `stateKey` (type: `string`):

Name of the monitor state, so each saved task keeps its own list of seen jobs.

## `slackWebhookUrl` (type: `string`):

Optional Slack incoming webhook that receives one message when new jobs are found (monitor mode).
