## Japan Camera & Lens Resale Price Research API

One API call gives you the current resale market price for any Japanese-market used camera or lens — aggregated from **Yahoo Auctions Japan** and **Mercari Japan** (メルカリ), Japan's two largest C2C marketplaces.

### Why this exists

Japan is the world's biggest source of used cameras and lenses (both domestic and export). But price discovery is scattered across Yahoo Auctions, Mercari, and retailer sites — and most listings are Japanese-only. This actor aggregates the two biggest C2C sources and returns **price statistics + sample listings** in a single JSON payload, in English-ready format with source URLs so you can verify every sample yourself.

### Notes

- **Prices are in JPY.** Listings with no parsable price are excluded from statistics.
- The actor runs the two well-known marketplace scrapers (`yahoo-auctions-japan-scraper` and `mercari-japan-search-scraper`) under the hood via the Apify API and aggregates their results. If one source is temporarily unavailable, the other still returns (partial results).
- Sample items always carry source URLs so you can open the actual listing to verify.
