## Pricing

from $52.80 / 1,000 ad analyzeds

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

## Ad Radar — AI Ad & Creative Intelligence

Analyze competitors' ads for **hooks, offers, angles, likely winners and creative fatigue** — with AI **vision** — and get ready-to-run creative briefs. **No ad-account connection required**; it works on any competitor from day one.

The cheap ad-spy tools ($9–150/mo) give you data with no real analysis. The premium ones ($750–1,200/mo) give analysis but are spend-gated and only look at *your own* ads. Ad Radar sits in the empty middle: affordable AI analysis of *competitors'* creatives, pay-as-you-go.

### 🔗 Chain it after your scraper

Already pulling ads with **[Facebook Ads Library Scraper (`apify/facebook-ads-scraper`)](https://apify.com/apify/facebook-ads-scraper)**, **[Facebook Ad Library Scraper (`curious_coder/facebook-ads-library-scraper`)](https://apify.com/curious_coder/facebook-ads-library-scraper)** or **[Meta Ad Scraper (`whoareyouanas/meta-ad-scraper`)](https://apify.com/whoareyouanas/meta-ad-scraper)**? Pipe the dataset straight in — paste its dataset ID and get hooks, angles, likely-winner scoring, creative-fatigue signals and ready-to-run briefs. Works with any Meta / Facebook Ad Library scraper's output.

### Quick start

1. **Fill in the input** — set the fields in the input tab (prefilled with a working example).
2. **Click Start** — the Actor runs and writes one record per item to the dataset.
3. **Get your data** — export to **JSON, CSV or Excel**, or pull it via the API.

### What it does

Feed it a dataset from **any Meta Ad Library scraper** (or raw ad objects). Per ad it extracts:

- **Hook, offer, angle, format, emotion, CTA** (AI, with vision on the creative image)
- **Likely-winner scoring** from longevity (days running) + variants — a long-running ad is one the advertiser keeps paying for because it converts

Then an aggregated **report**: top recurring hooks/angles/offers, the "winning formula", creative-fatigue signals, and ready-to-use **creative briefs** to replicate the winners.

### Input

| Field | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| `datasetId` | string | Dataset from any Meta Ad Library scraper. |
| `items` | array | Or paste ad objects / ad-copy strings directly. |
| `textField` / `imageField` | string | Field names (auto-detected if empty). |
| `analyzeImages` | boolean | Use AI vision on the creative image (default true). |
| `brand` | string | Advertiser label for the report. |

```json
{ "datasetId": "YOUR_AD_LIBRARY_DATASET_ID", "brand": "Competitor", "analyzeImages": true }
```

### Output

One analysis record per ad (hook/offer/angle/format + winnerScore + isLikelyWinner), plus an aggregated winner report.

### Pricing (pay-per-event)

| Event | When | Price |
|---|---|---|
| `ad-analyzed` | per ad (AI creative teardown, vision when available) | $0.20 |
| `winner-report` | per run (winning patterns + replicable briefs) | $0.50 |

### Who it's for

Performance marketers, DTC brands, media buyers and agencies researching competitor creative.

### Notes

- Requires an OpenAI API key (`OPENAI_API_KEY`); use a vision-capable model for image analysis (gpt-4o-mini default).
- Pair with any Apify Meta/Facebook Ad Library scraper: run the scraper, then feed its `datasetId` here.

# Actor input Schema

## `datasetId` (type: `string`):

The dataset ID produced by any Facebook/Meta Ad Library scraper. We read its ad objects and analyze them. Leave empty if you pass 'items' directly.

## `items` (type: `array`):

Optional. Paste ad objects, or ad-copy strings (one per line), instead of a dataset.

## `textField` (type: `string`):

Which field holds the ad copy (auto-detected if empty).

## `imageField` (type: `string`):

Which field holds the ad image URL (auto-detected if empty).

## `analyzeImages` (type: `boolean`):

If on, use AI vision to analyze the ad creative image, not just the copy.

## `brand` (type: `string`):

Optional label for the advertiser, used in the aggregated report.

## `maxAds` (type: `integer`):

Cap on how many ads to analyze this run.

## `maxConcurrency` (type: `integer`):

How many ads to analyze in parallel.

## `model` (type: `string`):

OpenAI model (must support vision for image analysis). gpt-4o-mini is the cost-effective default.

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "items": [],
  "analyzeImages": true,
  "maxAds": 200,
  "maxConcurrency": 4,
  "model": "gpt-4o-mini"
}
```

# Actor output Schema

## `ads` (type: `string`):

All analyzed ads and the winner report in the default dataset.
