## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

## AI Prospecting Pipeline — Leads, Emails & Personalized Drafts

Turn a list of target companies — or a single Google Maps search — into **ICP-scored leads, verified business emails, and personalized, ready-to-send cold-email drafts**. One no-code run, no stitching tools together.

It **never sends email.** You get review-ready drafts and send them from your own inbox or sequencer, so you stay in control of consent, volume and deliverability.

![AI Prospecting Pipeline — Leads, Emails & Personalized Drafts — input and sample output](https://datatools-hub.vercel.app/actor-shots/ai-prospecting-pipeline.png)

### Quick start

1. **Fill in the input** — set the fields in the input tab (prefilled with a working example).
2. **Click Start** — the Actor runs and writes one record per item to the dataset.
3. **Get your data** — export to **JSON, CSV or Excel**, or pull it via the API.

### What it does

1. **Finds companies** — give it seed domains, or a Google Maps search like *"marketing agencies" in "Austin, TX"*.
2. **Scores ICP-fit** — each company is enriched (industry, size, offerings) and scored 0–100 against *your* offering, so you only pursue real fits.
3. **Finds verified emails** — role-based business addresses with deliverability checks.
4. **Writes the email** — a personalized subject + body for each company, referencing something real about them, in your tone.
5. **Stays compliant** — every draft includes your name, physical address and an opt-out line.

### Example input

```json
{
  "offering": "A no-code tool that turns Google Maps scrapes into sales leads — role-based emails, socials and website signals. example.com/tool",
  "googleMapsSearch": "digital marketing agencies",
  "googleMapsLocation": "Stockholm, Sweden",
  "minIcpScore": 65,
  "maxLeads": 25,
  "senderName": "Alex from Acme",
  "senderAddress": "Acme Inc, 123 Main St, Stockholm, Sweden"
}
```

Or skip discovery and pass your own list:

```json
{
  "offering": "…",
  "seedDomains": ["linear.app", "basecamp.com"],
  "senderName": "…",
  "senderAddress": "…"
}
```

### Output

One row per company — `company`, `domain`, `industry`, `icpScore`, `icpReason`, `email`, `subject`, `body`. Export to CSV/JSON or pull via API into your sequencer.

### Pricing

Pay per **draft generated** — one charge per ICP-fit company turned into a draft with a verified email. Enrichment, scoring, email-finding and personalization are all included. A Google Maps discovery search is billed by the Google Maps Scraper separately.

### Please use it responsibly

This produces B2B outreach drafts to business addresses. **You are the data controller** and are responsible for lawful use — comply with GDPR, CAN-SPAM and local rules: keep volumes sane, personalize genuinely, honor opt-outs, and only contact companies that are a real fit. This is not legal advice.

Actively maintained.

# Actor input Schema

## `offering` (type: `string`):

One or two sentences about your product/service and its benefit, plus a link. This drives both the ICP scoring and the email personalization. Example: 'A no-code tool that turns Google Maps scrapes into sales leads — role-based emails, socials and website signals. example.com/tool'.

## `seedDomains` (type: `array`):

Your curated list of target company domains (e.g. stripe.com). Use this when you already know who to reach. Leave empty to discover companies via Google Maps below.

## `googleMapsSearch` (type: `string`):

Instead of (or on top of) seed domains, discover companies from a Google Maps search — e.g. 'marketing agencies'. Uses the Google Maps Scraper (billed separately). Pair with a location below.

## `googleMapsLocation` (type: `string`):

Location for the Google Maps search, e.g. 'Stockholm, Sweden'.

## `discoverLimit` (type: `integer`):

Cap on companies pulled from the Google Maps search.

## `minIcpScore` (type: `integer`):

Keep only companies scoring at least this (0-100) against your offering. Higher = stricter targeting.

## `maxLeads` (type: `integer`):

Hard cap on the number of leads/drafts. Cold email works best in small, targeted batches.

## `verifyEmails` (type: `boolean`):

Run deliverability checks and prefer role-based business addresses.

## `tone` (type: `string`):

Tone for the personalized drafts.

## `senderName` (type: `string`):

Shown as the sender and signed in the draft.

## `senderAddress` (type: `string`):

Required in the footer for lawful B2B outreach (CAN-SPAM) and good practice. A real postal address.

## `optOutText` (type: `string`):

The unsubscribe/opt-out sentence added to every draft.
