## Pricing

from $13.20 / 1,000 domain searcheds

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

## Email Finder — Find Company Email Addresses by Domain

Find **email addresses for any company domain**. Crawls the homepage plus contact, about and team pages, then cleans, de-obfuscates and flags role-based addresses. A cheaper alternative to Hunter.io and Snov.io for domain email search.

![Email Finder — input and sample output](https://datatools-hub.vercel.app/actor-shots/email-finder-scraper.png)

### Quick start

1. **Fill in the input** — set the fields in the input tab (prefilled with a working example).
2. **Click Start** — the Actor runs and writes one record per item to the dataset.
3. **Get your data** — export to **JSON, CSV or Excel**, or pull it via the API.

### What you get

Per email: `email`, `domain`, `type` (personal / role-based), `sourceUrl`, `confidence`, `scrapedAt`.

- Crawls **homepage + contact, about and team pages**
- **De-obfuscates** emails hidden as "name \[at] domain \[dot] com"
- Flags **role-based** addresses (info@, sales@, support@)
- Clean, deduplicated output

### Example

**Input**

```json
{ "domains": ["stripe.com", "notion.so"] }
```

**Output**

```json
{
  "domain": "stripe.com",
  "email": "press@stripe.com",
  "type": "role-based",
  "sourceUrl": "https://stripe.com/contact",
  "confidence": "high",
  "scrapedAt": "2026-10-07T12:00:00.000Z"
}
```

### Use cases

- **B2B outreach** — build targeted contact lists from a list of company domains.
- **Lead enrichment** — add verified company emails to your CRM records.
- **Partnerships & PR** — find the right inbox at any company fast.

### Hunter.io / Snov.io alternative

No per-seat subscription and no monthly credit cap — pay only per domain searched.

### GDPR & responsible use

This actor returns **business contact data** associated with a company domain. It is intended for legitimate B2B communication. You are the data controller for how you use the results; comply with GDPR, CAN-SPAM and local rules (lawful basis, opt-out, retention). This is not legal advice.

### Pricing

**$0.03 per domain searched.** You are charged per domain processed.

### FAQ

**Does it verify the emails?** It cleans, de-obfuscates and flags role-based vs personal; it does not send verification mail.
**Does it return personal emails?** It surfaces addresses published on the company site and flags role-based ones.
**Is this GDPR-compliant?** The data is business contact information; compliance depends on how you use it — see the note above.
**What's the unit of charge?** One charge per domain searched.

### Settings

- **domains** — company domains to search, one per line.
- **maxPagesPerDomain** — how deep to crawl each site.

# Actor input Schema

## `domains` (type: `array`):

Company domains or website URLs, one per line (e.g. apify.com or https://apify.com).

## `names` (type: `array`):

Full names (e.g. 'Jane Doe'). For each domain, the actor infers the company's email pattern and guesses + verifies the address for each person.

## `verifyEmails` (type: `boolean`):

Check each email against the mail server. Detects catch-all domains; returns 'unknown' when port 25 is blocked (never a false positive).

## `usePlaywrightFallback` (type: `boolean`):

When the fast static crawl finds nothing, retry with a real browser (slower, catches JavaScript-rendered contact pages).

## `maxPagesPerDomain` (type: `integer`):

Homepage plus this many discovered contact/about/team pages.

## `includeContext` (type: `boolean`):

Include a short text snippet around each scraped email.

## `abstractApiKey` (type: `string`):

Abstract Email Reputation API key for reliable verification on Apify (port 25 is blocked for SMTP). Get a free key at app.abstractapi.com → Email Intelligence. Can also be set as the ABSTRACT_API_KEY env secret.

## `fromAddress` (type: `string`):

Sender used during built-in SMTP verification (only used when no Abstract key is set, and only works where port 25 is open).

## `maxConcurrency` (type: `integer`):

How many domains to process in parallel.

}
```
# Actor output Schema
## `items` (type: `string`):
