## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

## Coupang Product Details API — Prices, Images & Ratings

Look up known Coupang products for price monitoring and catalogue enrichment. Paste a product URL or numeric product ID; no Coupang cookies or account are required.

**$3 per 1,000 delivered selected-product records ($0.003 each), with no startup fee.** Ten delivered products cost $0.03; 100 cost $0.30; 1,000 cost $3. A failed lookup emits no paid product result. Optional missing fields do not make a valid selected-product record free. Requesting two distinct options of the same product produces two separately billable selected-product records.

### Why use this Coupang product API?

- Simple paste-and-run input for non-technical users, with the same JSON available to developers.
- Preserve exact product/item/vendor-item IDs for the selected option.
- Get structured quantity-tier prices, descriptions, images and ratings when available.
- See explicit missing-field flags instead of assuming every section is complete.
- Export JSON/CSV or connect the Actor to Python, n8n, Make and scheduled workflows through Apify.

Choose this Actor for selected-product details, not for a promised full option matrix or specifications catalogue.

### Quick start

1. Paste product links or IDs into **Product URLs or IDs**.
2. Keep `itemId` and `vendorItemId` in a copied link to request that exact selected option. A bare product ID uses the source's default option.
3. Start the Actor, then export Product details as JSON, CSV or Excel. JSON preserves nested quantity offers and image arrays most accurately.

```json
{"productUrls":["https://www.coupang.com/vp/products/8130801224?itemId=28237004210&vendorItemId=93725569832"],"maxProducts":1,"maxRequests":1}
```

### What you receive

Product/item/vendor-item identifiers; title and selected attribute title; available quantity-tier final and coupon prices in KRW; sold-out flag; rating and review count; description text and description images; product images; available seller name/ID/store link; input URL and missing-field flags.

`price` reflects the first returned quantity offer; inspect `quantityOffers` for its quantity and alternative quantity-tier prices. A quantity offer is **not** a different colour/size/storage variant. Distinct requested variants are distinct product records. Duplicate normalized URLs are requested once.

### Important coverage limits

- This version uses the existing selected-product API contract. It does **not** promise the full variant matrix, all seller offers, specifications, certifications, inventory counts, individual reviews or return policies.
- Seller fields can be null. Review count does not mean individual review texts are returned. Stock quantity must not be inferred from purchase limits.
- A missing field remains null/empty and is identified in `incomplete` when applicable. No product, seller or option information is fabricated.
- Returned product/variant IDs must match the requested target before a record is accepted.
- Prices are source snapshots, not guaranteed checkout offers. `fetchedAt` is the lookup time, not proof of a live source refresh.
- The Actor does not automatically retry. The service can internally attempt an upstream request twice. `maxRequests` is a run-level API-call ceiling, not a lifetime account quota.
- Backend error details are blank strings. Failed lookups produce no paid product result; partial batches retain already delivered products.
- Persistent Free-tier protection must be reviewed before public launch.

### Developers

Call `gauravlabs/coupang-product-details-api` using Apify's API or client SDK with the same JSON. The service key is configured privately, separate from the listing Actor's key; customers do not supply or see it. Use the output schema's links for data and SUMMARY.

```python
import os
from apify_client import ApifyClient
client = ApifyClient(os.environ['APIFY_TOKEN'])
run = client.actor('gauravlabs/coupang-product-details-api').call(
    run_input={
        'productUrls': ['https://www.coupang.com/vp/products/8130801224?itemId=28237004210&vendorItemId=93725569832'],
        'maxProducts': 1,
        'maxRequests': 1,
    },
    memory_mbytes=128,
    timeout_secs=260,
)
for product in client.dataset(run['defaultDatasetId']).iterate_items():
    print(product)
```

Install `apify-client` for this example. Results are asynchronous Actor outputs, not a guaranteed instant HTTP response. A schedule can repeat lookups; creating a historical price-series database is a separate integration.

### Pricing and release status

Pricing is $3 per 1,000 delivered selected-product records, with no startup fee or separate image/description charge. Check the Apify run dialog for your spending limit and applicable platform terms. Run-level request limits are not a lifetime Free-account allowance; no unlimited free-data allowance is promised.

This Actor is not affiliated with Coupang. Respect applicable data-use and platform requirements.

# Actor input Schema

## `productUrls` (type: `array`):

Paste 1–100 Coupang HTTPS product links or numeric product IDs. Keep itemId/vendorItemId in the URL to select an exact option. Bare IDs use the default option.

## `maxProducts` (type: `integer`):

Maximum selected-product records delivered in this run. Different requested variants are separate records.

## `maxRequests` (type: `integer`):

Hard API-call ceiling for this run, not a lifetime quota. There is one API call per selected product target, with no automatic Actor retry.

## `requestTimeoutSecs` (type: `integer`):

Maximum time to wait for each API lookup. The service may internally attempt an upstream request up to twice.
