## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Career Site Jobs Scraper - Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby & more

Get **every open job from a company's own career site** — straight from the applicant tracking system (ATS) it runs on. One Actor covers **Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable, SmartRecruiters and Recruitee**, so you don't need six scrapers.

Paste a career-page URL, or just type the company's board name (e.g. `airbnb`, `openai`) and the Actor finds which ATS it uses.

- **Fresh, first-party data** — jobs come from the company's own ATS, not a stale aggregator.
- **Salary** where the company publishes it (Ashby, Lever, Recruitee) — as text plus min / max / currency.
- **Filters** — job title keywords, location, remote only, posted in the last N days. You only pay for jobs that pass.
- **Full plain-text description** — ready for an LLM, a job board, or a spreadsheet.
- **Fast and cheap** — official public JSON endpoints, no browser, no proxy. 800 OpenAI jobs in seconds.

### Use cases

- **Job boards & newsletters** — aggregate jobs from hundreds of companies, refreshed on a schedule.
- **Sales prospecting** — companies hiring for "Salesforce", "data engineer" or "SOC 2" are buying signals.
- **Recruiting & talent intel** — track who competitors are hiring, where, and at what salary.
- **Market research** — hiring velocity by department and location.
- **Job seekers** — get alerts for new remote roles at your target companies.

### Input

```json
{
  "companies": ["https://boards.greenhouse.io/airbnb", "https://jobs.lever.co/spotify", "openai", "https://bunq.recruitee.com"],
  "titleKeywords": ["engineer", "data"],
  "locationKeywords": ["remote", "london"],
  "remoteOnly": false,
  "postedWithinDays": 30,
  "includeDescription": true
}
```

Supported URL formats: `boards.greenhouse.io/x`, `job-boards.greenhouse.io/x`, `jobs.lever.co/x`, `jobs.ashbyhq.com/x`, `apply.workable.com/x`, `careers.smartrecruiters.com/x`, `x.recruitee.com`.

### Pricing

**$1 per 1,000 jobs** ($0.001 per job), only for jobs that match your filters. No monthly rental, no per-company fee.

### FAQ

**How do I find a company's board name?** Open their careers page and click any job — the URL shows the ATS and name (e.g. `jobs.lever.co/spotify/...`). Or just try the company name.

**The company uses Workday / iCIMS / Taleo?** Not supported yet. Those don't have open public APIs.

**How often should I run it?** Schedule it daily and use `postedWithinDays: 1` to get only new jobs.
