## Pricing

from $7.00 / 1,000 results

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Contact & Email Extractor — Emails, Phones, Socials

Turn a list of websites into **contact details for lead generation**: email addresses, phone numbers, and social-media profiles. Point it at company websites (or a list of domains from another scraper) and it returns the contacts found on each.

Most businesses hide their email on a **contact / about / imprint** page rather than the homepage, so this actor optionally follows those same-domain pages automatically.

Pure HTTP (Chrome TLS impersonation) + regex/DOM parsing — **fast, cheap, and reliable**, no browser needed.

### What you get

| Field | Description |
|-------|-------------|
| `website` / `domain` | The input site and its registrable domain |
| `emails` | Deduplicated list of email addresses |
| `phones` | Deduplicated list of phone numbers |
| `socials` | Map of network → profile URL (facebook, instagram, linkedin, twitter/x, youtube, tiktok, whatsapp, telegram, github, …) |
| `emailCount` / `phoneCount` | Counts for quick filtering |
| `pagesScanned` | How many pages were fetched for this site |
| `scrapedAt` | ISO 8601 timestamp |

High-confidence sources (`mailto:` / `tel:` links) are always captured; visible text is also scanned, with asset filenames, tracking IDs and example addresses filtered out.

### Input

```json
{
  "startUrls": [{ "url": "https://example.com" }, { "url": "acme.io" }],
  "crawlContactPages": true,
  "maxPagesPerSite": 5,
  "proxyConfiguration": { "useApifyProxy": true }
}
```

| Field | Type | Default | Description |
|-------|------|---------|-------------|
| `startUrls` | array | — | Websites or bare domains |
| `crawlContactPages` | boolean | true | Follow contact/about/imprint pages |
| `maxPagesPerSite` | integer | 5 | Max pages fetched per site |
| `proxyConfiguration` | object | Apify proxy | Datacenter proxy is usually enough |

### Use cases

- **Lead generation** — enrich a list of company domains with emails and phones.
- **Sales prospecting** — pair with a Google Maps / directory scraper to turn business listings into reachable contacts.
- **Recruiting & outreach** — collect contact points for target organisations.
- **CRM enrichment** — fill missing contact fields for existing accounts.

### 🤖 Use with Claude or ChatGPT (MCP)

Run this actor straight from Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any MCP client via the [Apify MCP server](https://mcp.apify.com). In **Claude Desktop**: Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector → `https://mcp.apify.com`, then ask it to find contacts for a site. Or expose just this tool:

```json
{ "mcpServers": { "apify": { "url": "https://mcp.apify.com?tools=get_anything/contact-extractor" } } }
```

### Notes

- Only publicly available pages are fetched; no logins or gated content.
- Respect applicable anti-spam and data-protection laws (GDPR/CAN-SPAM) when contacting people.

# Actor input Schema

## `startUrls` (type: `array`):

Websites or domains to extract contact details from (e.g. https://example.com or example.com).

## `crawlContactPages` (type: `boolean`):

Also follow same-domain links that look like contact/about/imprint/support pages, where email addresses usually live.

## `maxPagesPerSite` (type: `integer`):

Maximum number of pages to fetch per website (the start page plus discovered contact pages).

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Proxy for fetching. Datacenter proxies are usually enough for contact extraction.

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "startUrls": [
    {
      "url": "https://apify.com"
    }
  ],
  "crawlContactPages": true,
  "maxPagesPerSite": 5,
  "proxyConfiguration": {
    "useApifyProxy": true
  }
}
```

# Actor output Schema

## `results` (type: `string`):

One item per website in the default dataset - emails, phones and social profiles found.

    ]
};

// Run the Actor and wait for it to finish
const run = await client.actor("get_anything/contact-extractor").call(input);

// Fetch and print Actor results from the run's dataset (if any)
